Hotel Posada Sian Kaan

Rooms are clean, the personnel is very nice even only few of them know English. The roof is great to see the surroundings and even to spend time in the sun without many people around. The location is very close to what can be called the “center” of Playa, very close to the beach and very close to the ferry for Cozumel Island. Also, very close to ADO bus station. If you want to use the “colectivos”, which are 1/4 the price of ADO bus, they are on Calle 1st Sur (close to Calle 2, where the hotel is) with Av 40 or so.

Even everything is cleaned, the metal of different things in the bathroom is a bit rusty. This might be because of the wet weather common to this place, but with a financial effort could be replaced for a better look.

Just a few feet away from the beach. The hotel provides beach towels and you can rent and umbrella with beach chairs for a few bucks.

There was nothing not to like.

clean - awesome staff : Jose Luis welcomed me and showed me the property and facilities - He was incredible and very helpful - Carole the housekeeper was also excellent- this might be a 3 star hotel for dome but the service we got was a 5 ***** service- you feel welcomed- Everyone from the staff are eager to help out and make our stay a memorable one- Honestly I was happily surprised and so happy that I chose this hotel from the service we got, the cleanliness of the hotel and the location. thank you Jose Luis and the whole staff of Posada Sian Kaan 🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

Amazing breakfast, spotless clean room and very friendly staff! The hotel is close to the Quinta Avenida - which is great - though it remains very quiet at night which was something we looked for traveling with a toddler. The room was spacious with comfy beds and a lovely balcony. All the staff we came across was friendly and willing to help. Special thanks to the front desk staff who gave us some nice tips to make the best of our stay in the Riviera. We’ll definitely come back again!

The only small minus was that the hotel did not have a parking lot. But you can easily park in private parking at a walking distance.

Located directly in the center of Playa Del Carmen but inside the hotel area it's relatively quiet compared to all the hustle and bustle outside. Very nice garden and pool area. Breakfast is served at the terasse with garden view. No breakfast was included in our rate but the offered us one free breakfast during our stay.

This place is a gem. It feels like a little oasis in a middle of a hectic town. They have a gorgeous garden with a cenote, banana and mango trees and we've even seen an opossum there. Breakfasts were very delicious and all staff is really amazing, very caring and just lovely. Super clear rooms. Bed sheets and towels are snow white, rooms are big and very comfortable, all rooms have a balcony. The beast part is location - just a few steps from the beach and Quinta Avenida. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel!

All staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel has an awesome rooftop with an ocean view. Perfect location right next to the beach (30m by foot). ADO station and ferry terminal also in walking distance, same goes for clubs. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay at Playa del Carmen.

I've stayed here before and like the place as it's in a great location, pretty quiet, and the room is comfy and the staff helpful.

The only shame is the wifi is weak in the room so if you need a strong connection you need to go to the breakfast area.

Overall, we loved this place. The location was great and right on the beach, very clean, helpful staff and a great little pool. Other locations that aren’t on the beach require a minimum spend to hang out on the beach, but here it was part of our resort so that wasn’t required. Great value as well, would stay here again.

I had large room on ground floor with balcony over beautiful garden. Bed very comfortable. Room very clean. Good location on street between 5th avenue and beach.

There is a closeby club which plays loud music- didn't affect me to much but would in some rooms particularly in the older of the two buildings
