The room was spacious and elegant, with curtains that blocked out light well and extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom was also large and very comfortable, with a big walk in shower. The location of the hotel, close to a highway exit was convenient, since I was traveling.

I think the payment system was a bit convoluted. I booked the room on Booking.com, giving them my card, and normally my payments would either be taken from my card automatically, or I would pay at the hotel. Here, however, I got a series of messages with instructions requiring me to separately pay through a dedicated portal, which I found unneccessarily comvoluted.

Generally clean. Staff at reception was very nice, beer was really good. Breakfast was very good, with scambled eggs and bacon made to order. Other nice things: free parking, good wifi.

Asked for a double, but they only had rooms with two singles left. Too many smokers right outside the entrance, while the doors were wide open. Huge dust-bunnies behind the fridge. Strange electric engine noises all night long, but slept fine. Price went up just when I decided to book - maybe they ran out of regular rooms, I ended up in a 'Deluxe' room although I can't tell what was deluxe about it.

room cleanliness: poor and problem with towels. we were two in room each day there towels missing. had to ask from the reception to give us towels. the beds were separate although we asked connected beds. The mattress slips off the bed in the middle of the night and I fell on the floor and injured my face from the top of the bedside table.

Pleasant staff. Breakfast more than sufficient. Room and bathroom excellent

When you are unknown with the location of the hotel, it is very easy to overlook where to find the entry to the parking around the hotel. It's not well indicated. Maybe place a sign along the road to indicate the direction. I missed it at daylight, let alone how it would have been when arriving when it's dark

Hotel was relatively new and therefore still maintained a modern feel. Rooms were simple and functional, bathroom was a good size and the shower actually worked - proper flow of water and not the usual trickle. Good selection at breakfast. The restaurant was good and portions were ample. Staff were generally friendly and efficient.

Rooms could have been cleaner, floors certainly aren't vacuumed every day.

Location excellent, close to highway (access to both Belgium and Germany within 15-20 min). On site parking with ample space, never needed to look for a spot. Overall my first Bastion experience that confirmed my choice.

Issues with my in-room coffee machine. Staff was so kind to offer me a coffee from the breakfast site.

good: * breakfast is good (but only till 9am unfortunately, a bit early for me) * personal is very helpful and nice in general * location is good * parking is convenient and big enough * room is big with huge windows

could be better: * prolonged breakfast till 10am would be nice * bed/pillow were OK, but could be better (to my taste pillow was too big and the bed was too small and too soft)

Just the ideal place for my purpose of stay. Here for a music festival over the weekend. Mostly needed to have a clean, nice place to stay and take some rest . That was guaranteed here. Have been here for the 3rd time and will return next time again.

Cleanliness, spacious bathroom.

Asked for an iron to iron my shirt for the next day. The receptionist noted that she would call back which she didn't. I even went to the reception to ask again, but still no follow-up on organizing an iron. I think this is poor customer treatment.

Room was perfect, big size, quiet, with large windows and blackout curtins, large smart TV, armchair, table etc. Bathroom spacious and in a very good condition. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Although bed sheets, towels etc were super clean, the floor had some dirt from previous tenant.
