The location is excellent, the breakfast absolutely superb, one of the best in my recent travels, and the staff is nice and friendly.

The unpleasant smell of mould in corridors (at least on the 6th floor), and room cleaning was superficial. I had s small balcony that was cleaned neither before I took the room nor over the 4 days (with birds' droppings and dirt). I asked for a simple chair for the balcony, but the staff did not care about it (so the balcony was practically useless). My single room was so tiny that I had difficulty getting around the bed. There were no drawers nor closets for clothing (!!). The toiletries did not even include tissues. The sauna was tiny and lacked privacy as it is part of the fitness room; there is no cooling space after taking a sauna.

Disappointed was unable to buy a drink at the Bar 8 p.m , sign on Bar said Bartender would be back shortly. waited about 10 mins,no bartender. so went to reception to be told by 1 of the 3 people there that the bar was closed . As I went back to my Wife in the bar ,1 of the 3 from Reception came in and removed the sign from the bar, and went back Reception , and completed showing her dance moves to the other 2 staff ? I believe the Hotel has missed an opportunity for more business as the Hotel was full ( at least 2 coach loads of overnighters) and plenty of customers .We went to a local Bar.

The room is small but quite comfortable with the nice view on the street. Special thanks from me for the little shelf in the shower for toiletries. For some reasons, it's missing in many hotels, so I appreciate when it's available. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is rather good, there are many options. A bit crowdy, maybe, but we did come closer to the end of breakfast time. Location of the hotel is great, it takes around 15 minutes to walk to Oslo Opera house, but at the same time area around hotel is quiet and allows good night's sleep.

Water is splashing from under shower door - not a big deal, but it makes bathroom floor wet eventually.

The hotel facilities are well structured and the breakfast is insanely amazing. The room was compact but comfortable and the balcony was a major extra. The bathroom is very well equipped and the staff was friendly. The location is not the most central, but easily accessible by a 5-10 minute walk to and from everywhere.

There are no mini-fridges in the rooms and it can be a little bit small for a bigger person walking around. There’s also an unnecessary chair in the room that takes a bit of walking space.

We enjoyed the breakfast which was exceptional and the location was super central. Staff were friendly.

The room was quite small and there were no hot drink making facilities in the room. The lack of cupboard space was a bit annoying so clothes had to be left on the sofa and table. Unfortunately the panel to the right of the door fell off striking my mother but thankfully she was not hurt. It was fixed rapidly. It was disappointing that there was no herring at breakfast.

We had THE BEST stay! We had a warm welcome and any time we needed reception, they were informative and efficient. Breakfast was outstanding, so much to choose from, fresh and varied each day. The hotel is a 6 min walk from central Oslo, and easily walkable to all the tourist spots and still in a lovely quiet area for a peaceful sleep. Our room was clean, the shower was lovely and housekeeping were fabulous each day. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, excellent value for money for this wonderful hotel.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's right in the city center, the room had pretty much everything we wished for (air conditioning, blackout curtains, a decent bed, nice bathroom, etc.), it served a great breakfast (plenty of choice out of good quality products) and it offers a reduced parking rate for an indoor parking garage underneath the hotel. (Parking in Oslo is still expensive though, even with reduction it came down to around €27 a day) I can recommend this hotel to pretty much everyone, with the exception of people that would love to stay in a more personal environment (like a small B&B or family hotel).

Just a word of advice: Tourists love to eat local food. It should be pretty easy to create a list of 5 to 10 restaurants in Oslo where you could find some local dishes. I was quite surprised that none of the staff members could give me any advice on the matter. A simple list with recommendations will fix that problem and I'll guarantee you that a lot of customers would love it. =)

Great location, lots of attractions within walking distance. Comfortable beds and excellent breakfast selection. Good quality toiletries. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Smooth check in and check out process.

The windows in our room were non opening, usually hotel windows open slightly to allow some fresh air in. No tea or coffee making facilities in our room. We booked 3 rooms, one had this, two didn't.

Excellent location. Breakfast was great, although a little variety would have been good after a couple of days. Room was cosy but (just) big enough to still be comfortable. Very clean and overall better than I expected. Also had a balcony which was lovely. Bed was a little too soft for my liking but still comfortable enough

Some missed opportunities to add storage in some places eg bedsides but overall there wasn’t anything I didn’t like

location is almost center of Oslo

I am driving an electrical vehicle so I book hotels which are listed with chargers. St. Olaf Scandic have 5(?) small chargers in -3 basement. The chargers are not even 11kW. They couldn’t charge my Volvo in full over a nights stay. The parking basement are very narrow and with 498 NOK per 24 hrs it is completely overpriced. The hotel rate is OK taking Norway prices into consideration but the parking price is unacceptable.
