Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Panama Punta Pacifica

Everything is well-updated and very clean. staff is all very friendly, efficient and professional. Various times they went out of their way to go above and beyond to be of assistance. Location is maybe 20 minutes from the airport but well-located in middle of downtown. Ubers are readily available. Hotel gym is slightly better than average. Dumbbells go up to 45 lbs (would be great if they added a pull-up bar somewhere). Overall it feels as though you are staying at an upscale hotel at a very reasonable price.

The only thing that wasn’t fantastic was the prices at the hotel restaurant. The food was good but there are better options within walking distance at half the price.

location location. close to newish multi-plaza mall (10-15 min walk. Abundant restaurants close by and in mall. Closer to airport to avoid traffic in town. Clean. Breakfast is ok. Staff are always obliging and friendly (Joan and all her colleagues). Beds comfortable either two doubles or King. View of city / water from corner rooms and many others. International clientele (global south). Test Lab (covid) close by ( 2 blocks) with room service ( add $15). Thanks!

The bottled water has a very unpleasant taste ( same as shower smell): I detected an odd mix of chemicals and mold !! This should be changed.

The hotel is just 18 minutes by car from the Tocumen airport. And just about the same to Casco Viejo. Desk staff very nice. Room view good. Cleanliness superb. Pool OK. Breakfast quite good. Rooms are well-equipped with a refridgiator, hair dryer, soaps, water, coffee and tea, TV etc.

The service at this hotel is second to none. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast included in my package but there were a few mornings when I couldn't go because our planned activities required we leave prior to the start of breakfast BUT one of the hotel hostesses ensured we had prepared sack lunches with a drink included on those days including the day we left for the airport. The breakfast itself was delicious and a great variety. The staff would suggest places for us to shop or to try authentic Panamanian food. Hotel is located roughly 20 minutes from the airport and less than 5 minutes from shopping mall and several eateries. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Everything was to our liking. If we had any issue which were minor 1st world issues-LOL- the staff would step in right away to address the issue.

- Very comfortable bed - Silent (a place to sleep well) - Clean - Great sized and comfortable rooms - Great shower - Great steam room - Very helpful staff (both the cleaning lady and reception staff won my heart!) - Gym is a little small and lacks essential equipment (e.g. a bicycle) but is super clean and well maintained - Very well maintained property overall - Location is both a plus and a minus to me. Feels a bit far apart from the main scene, while the area feels safe and there are a couple of good restaurants and coffee shops a couple of minutes away that can be life savers.

- Breakfast was below expectations to me. Lacks options to respond to current needs as: plant-based milk, gluten free options, low/no sugar options. The bread and cheese could also be better (more artisanal style). The juice is not made of real fruit (looks like a concentrated or artificial base with water) - The breakfast area lacked hands disinfectant, and is needed

I discovered that the walk to the Cinta Costera trail was farther than I had thought it would be and, more importantly, that it was dangerous. The sidewalks were intermittent and often took me to a spot where there was no way to proceed without darting across heavy, fast moving traffic where there was no stop light and not even a marked crosswalk. The lines striping one sidewalk directed me the middle of an intersection where there was no way to go forward without darting through traffic in one direction or another. When I returned from the Cinta Costera via a much longer route, I moved to the RIU Plaza for the remaining six days of my stay.

Each time we stay, we find something we like even more than before. This time we realized just how much we love the shower! The water stays at the temperature you put it, and the water pressure is amazing!! The breakfast is great. I like new and interesting food, while my husband enjoys eggs and oatmeal. We are both pleased with the variety and choices every time! We love the location. It's a nice walk to Multi Plaza, and after we shop, Uber is just a few dollars. Win-win!

We ought lunch. My husband's Hamburger was more done than he requested. But to be fair, that happens almost everywhere in Panama!

To be honest it extremely exceeded our expectations. The room and bed and bathroom were incredibly comfortable and a great size. The staff were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, and also made sure all our questions were answered. Free indoor parking was included. We went on an excursion (Snr Lopez will always be our guide ☺️)and it ran super late (4 hours after checkout) and they happily extended our stay at no additional cost. The included breakfast buffet had everything and was absolutely delicious. Every time we come to Panama, this is the place we will stay! Thank you so much to everyone.

The hotel was very clean, very nice lobby. Pool area was small but very nice. Room was spacious, comfortable, very nicely decorated with great views. Just like in the pictures. There is an excellent mall with supermarket and many eating places within about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly. They have a tour booth inside the lobby if you need to book tours. Overall a great stay…will come again.

A little distance from central downtown area but not a big deal because taxi/Uber is soooo cheap.

the room was big and comfortable the beds were the best I've slept in, super clean very modern lay out, excellent shower/bathroom tons of towels, soap/shampoo/everything needed and the cleaning staff kept everything tidy the reviews were correct its very nice hotel, nice pool area on the roof no noise and kept very clean also, American style buffet breakfast was excellent too lots of choices for everyone ,tons of places to go and eat from street food to fine dinning or stay and eat in the hotel ristorante, one thing you need a rental car in panama city because its a big city and taxies can add up:)
