Hotel Helios

Great location, very close to all amenities. The hotel room was clean and very warm. The staff at reception were very kind and helpful.

I don't know whether the restaurant in the hotel is part of it, but I didn't like their policy in regards to paying the bill. We travelled as a group of 4 friends and we couldn't split the bill, which is strange. The waiter was very rude. He said it was our problem, if we dont like something we can leave. Also, he was refusing to talk in English. We are guests, we can't learn every time new language when visiting a new country :/ So after one time, we've decided to try Karczmas in the city centre, which didn't disappoint, the food is delicious and there are lots of them. Think about profit vs ego?

The hotel is located in a great place: Gubalowka and Krupowki Street are right next to it. The interior is simple but nice. The personnel is friendly and helpful. Even though there's no fridge or kettle in the room, there's a separate room with the necessary utilities including a microwave. It was very cold in my room, but I was given a heater, so there was almost no discomfort. I had a positive experience overall.

The room looked clean at first glance, but once I moved the curtains and blankets, there was a lot of dust flying around. There was also a lot of dust in the bathroom (which might be due to Poland's air pollution). The shower wasn't cleaned properly - there were someone else's hairs when I moved in.

Solid hotel with a great view of the mountains from the window. Good location, around 10 mins walk from main street and coach stops. Very easy to find. Nice and quiet. Cleaning was generally a good standard. Adjoining restaurant served tasty food.

WIFI terrible. Intermittent and unreliable in both room and reception. Found a few loose hairs in bed, bathroom and on 'fresh' towels. Bed comfy but would have been nice to have had a proper double (rather than two singles pushed together with 2 single duvets). Receptionist bit of an enigma. Quite helpful but very abrupt but quite peculiar manner, and at times felt like my (sensible) questions were silly questions.

Really comfortable bed, warm rooms, nice friendly people at the front desk and during breakfast, great tasty breakfast and super location tonthe city centre.

Maybe it would be great to add electric kettle for the room so guests can make tea :)

Comfort Beds , Good Buffet Breakfast, many choices. ...Help full staff friendly used Mangers office for internet / mail as no other in Building ....Very central set in Park / so nice views from Room to Mountain Range. 5 minutes from Lidl !!! supermarket ....so Doughnuts & coffee in Afternoon !!!

Could change sheets more often / make your own bed each Day .....stayed 7 Days. ....but Toilet & Bins cleaned each day.

the location is perfect and close to the both Center (Krupowka) and Gubalowka mountain. Breakfast is really good, u will always find smth suitable for u. Room is small and old-fashioned maybe, but cozy and warm, it was important for me reallly)) personnel is ok, I can not schedule my check-in time but they provide me the possibility to left my baggage in the special room. i recommend the hotel, for the price I pay-it’s the best option ever!

I’ve nothing mention, maybe a shoe towel/carpet for a bathroom

Very close to the city center Breakfast was awesome 24hrs reception and they were helpful Bathroom was clean ND good. Hot water was working good.

I felt lighting inside the room was not good. They don't have ceiling lights so I felt it was darker even though I switch on all the table lights on the room. Not spacious enough, bigger lamp was kept in front of mirror and I have to move everytime to use mirror and if I want to open bathroom door I have move the lamp. No hair dryer!!

Free parking,close to Ice skate with kids(in winter) .walking distance to Krupowky street,local food store.We had lovely view in Fireworks and Park.Cant say nothing wrong,perhaps need some repairs/update on door, carpets and walls.Theres cheaper accommodation in Zakopane but we'll this is hotel with receptionist.hotel Door Keeping locked for safety I think from 22.00 ,bell provided.

Photos shows much larger rooms than reality.Only one shared fridge on the 3rd floor.

Fantastic view to the close park and the far high mountains. Cleanness in general. Free parking. Rich and fine breakfast. WiFi is OK. Proper accomodation for a vistor of the town and the area.

The light of the lamps are weak in the room, hard to read. The refilling of the buffet table at the excellent breakfast is highly depend on the skill of the waitress in duty. Most of the power sockets are controlled by the wall mounted light switches. The shaver's one in the bathroom is operational.

The hotel is very close to the main shopping street of Zakopane. It had free parking and excelent breakfast. The rooms were reletively clean, warm.

The hotel did not have a lift, it had bad noise isolation from the street, lack of air in the room, there were no proper ventilation in the room so we had to open windows from time to time. Also very small bathroom with some weird engeneering happening with the drainage. But all and all it was good value for the money and we enjoyed our visit.
