Alambique - Hotel Resort & Spa

The breakfast is an event in itself, absolutely wonderful! One of the best I have ever had in a portuguese hotel! Staff was very nice and polite, comfortable quiet room. Lots of amenities, interior parking included, for the price I paid it was a really great experience!

Couldn't set the a/c to a higher temperature, it looked like it was preset at 23°, the shower handle support is set at a weird angle, the wifi signal wasn't very stable, lack of detailed information on how to take advantage of interior pool, spa, etc

Everything you need is available and the attention of the employer's is excellent. Breakfast is spot on and served till 10:30am.

We stayed in a suite which was incredible but didn't have a TV in lounge area. The bathroom is beautifully decorated but the steps are some what dangerous. There should be anti slip flouerscente tape in place to avoid accidents.

Very large and comfortable room. Heating operating very well. The quality of the restaurant serving very tasty traditional food. Friendly staff, always available to provide useful and valuable information about what to visit in the touristic sites around. Free parking.

Paid access to the spa area, even if at a very affordable price.

Amazing room exceptionally clean and tidy. The restaurant in the hotel is spectacular - traditional Portuguese food and extremely accommodating.

The shower could be improved - only one fixed setting on the shower and the placement meant that the bathroom did get wet after a shower.

Breakfast and restaurant was very good. Just got cold vegetables with our dinner one night.

Reception on arrival. Didn’t tell us where the restaurant or breakfast area was located. But generally very helpful. Room on second night was not made up.

Lovely hotel, room was good, just a little tired and needs a little tlc. Food was good especially breakfast. No dinner available one night of our stay but there is a restaurant just across the road. The pool area and snacks were very good. Staff very helpful.

Shower over bath difficult to use. Screen would not open wide enough and there where no handles. Shower head could not be secured on wall. Obviously very new and therefore a few "teething" problems. Name of hotel not visible from road. Drove past several times!

The outside pool was very nice, with a great environment and good vibes.

The room was a little smaller than what I thought it would be but still very good.

Great hotel. Pools for all ages. Staff were great, polite and very helpful. Our family room was huge and very clean. Lovely big comfortable beds.

Use of indoor pool was extra. As were use of pool tables.

Staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent. They offered me a place in the parking lot. Spacious room. Spacious bathroom. Good wifi in the room.

I have stayed there on a stormy night and the room was not totally soundproof. During check-in, staff could have given more information regarding the facilities and at least the wifi password which I had to contact the reception later to ask.
