The breakfast was really great (extensive with a mountain view!), the bed was comfy, the AC was spot on, there was a spacious bathroom, the location has a great view and is close to Manteigas (it's just 15-20 min walk to the center which we enjoyed to do daily), and the staff was so nice. Everybody was nice, but the woman with the black braid during breakfast was exceptionally sweet and made sure everything and everyone was taken care of, and made us yummy espressos every morning. Thank you, everyone. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
It seems that because the hotel is made in an old building, the shower needs some time to heat up. It's mentioned on the informative sheet in the room, and it's fine once you get used to it. Tip: Just give it some time (10-15 min) before you want to shower and check sometimes if it's hot, and if two people need to shower, go right after each other instead of turning the shower off in between :)

Studio was in a very nice house, it was large for 4 people (2 kids). The location is great around mountains and close for trekking. Good breakfast. Room and bathroom were very clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some may like the interior of the common space filled with varios ancient stuff and furniture.
Matresses on the single beds are very rigid and raspy. Rooms are very small, considering they are on the attic flor you have to curve and crawl to move around.

The worst hoapitality I have ever encoutered ! the person in the reception is rude and un kind. we arrived to discover that the serra se strella park suffered a big fire and most of it was damaged and un fit for traveling, this information was confirmed to us by the tourist information and we told the hotel and we are not going to stay there for all the nights we reserved beacuse there is not much to do there. Ther refused to refud us although the special circumstances and kept saying that the park was not damaged although it is a lie. we had to pay them 4 night that we did not stay there ! they were very un welcoming , the toilet in the room the didnt work as well- DONT STAY THERE!
