Las Rocas

Great little hotel in the heart of the town centre, looking over the inner harbour, very close to the main busy streets, less than a minute walk. We really loved the view from the room, which was clean and big enough for a couple days stay. When you take in the price and location it is very good value. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there is secure parking for motorcycles. Breakfast was tasty and good value at €5.80. Highly recommended and would stay again if passing through.

Everything perfect

location is in the centre of Llanes so very easy walk to bars and restaurants . We traveled by motorbike and were offered free secure garage parking in the hotels garage about 250 meters away from hotel. (not large enough to take customers cars as it’s used for storage)

The location as well as being a positive also has a negative side if you want an early nights sleep. there was a bit of noise from the bar down the street but not too bad. The decor of the hotel and rooms is looking quite tired and could do with being refurbished but it was very clean and good value for money.

Centrally located by the port and near to the beaches. Big bathroom. Good lounge area with bar and view of the port. Room was quiet. I'd stay there again.

There were three of us sharing a room and the third bed was small. Maybe it's too much to expect but an electric kettle would be appreciated. Heating was off, and there was no option to switch it on so there no was drying facility which would have been handy given the wet weather we endured that day.

This was a wonderful stay for us in beautiful llanes. Las rocas is perfectly positioned overlooking the marina within yards of an array of great restaurants, bars and cafes. Our room was very spacious with incredible views the bed was extremely comfortable everything was good. The staff were without exception kind and helpful and we felt very welcome. It was very good value for money and we feel strongly that the hotel is unfairly rated.on booking.com We would stay again without hesitation and highly recommend.

The windows in our third floor room opened completely into the room leaving an unprotected vertical drop onto the path below, also there were no locks on the windows or opening limitation making this especially dangerous and unsuitable if young children and anyone with a fear of heights were in the room

Could be a little noisy in the morning due to it's location but it's location is fabulous, just the price to pay. Paying for parking not stated when included in the booking.com search, parking is a 10 min walk from the actual hotel, again this down to the location. This is a comment of information for others ... not a critiscm of the hotel. I'd stay again !!

The hotel sends you instructions on how to arrive by car. Which is not the easiest challenge you'll ever have.

The low score reflects the fact that, though very nicely located alongside the quay, there's at least one bar very nearby, where the revellers kept me awake until 5am. It's possible the hotel can't do anything about this. So, make sure you have ear plugs.

The staff were lovely and the view over the harbour was superb

Parking is limited, however the hotel has private garage parking available 2 streets away for a daily charge. Parking is available outside the main entrance for loading/unloading luggage.

incredible views of the town. comfortable and clean old-style hotel with good facilities and courteous staff.

paper-thin walls made it hard to sleep without earplugs. breakfast is very limited, go out to a cafe instead.

Extremely friendly owner and host. I was the only guest off season but he took time to prepare an excellent breakfast for me. It was like being invited to their home not like staying at a hotel. The best bed i slept in on my 3 weeks camino journey
