Ilunion Suites Madrid

This hotel looks very nice. From the lobby to the rooms, all looks good. The rooms are clean. They put water in the fridge every day. There is a tub in every room (I think). The location is good and is near a bus and a metro station. No iron and ironing bed in the room, but we asked and got so that was solved. The staff in the breakfast room were so professional. Very good air conditioner. Helpful staff.

There are no toilet brushes in the rooms. No water boiler, and no tea or coffee in the rooms. The rooms look good, but you can see everywhere that the wallpapers were done wrong which makes the hotel look cheap or/and unprofessional. Breakfast is normal.

The location (as distance from the city-centre) and price of the hotel are great, as you have both bus and metro station very close-by taking you to the city centre. The entrance into the hotel is fantastic, like in the pictures, very big, with colors (kids like it!) and spacious. They also have nice coffee machine at the reception area, which is good. All the staff persons (reception, restaurant) have been very nice and polite, helping as much as possible. Most important the size of the room is huge, easily 3-4 persons may fit in it, as you have two habitation areas (separated by a tv "island"), an office desk, few chairs and a long entrance hall into the room. In general, the hotel and room are very comfortable, it is a great value-for-money!

As in other comments, there is a problem with the bathroom: - the "door" is glass-based and you may easily see the people inside the bathroom although it is not transparent of course (not nice when you're with kids/teenagers in the room, always curious) - the frame of the bathroom door is of inox, acting like a mirror so you may directly see inside - the bathroom ventilation is not working efficiently, so you need to open the bathroom door to ventilate it inside your room Otherwise other issues are: the window curtains were not clean.

The room was large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options, including a range of gluten-free rolls, croissants etc. on request. The hotel is not in the centre of Madrid but it suited us, as we were visiting our daughter who lives in the Prosperidad area of the city.

The door to the bathroom didn't allow for much privacy, and the the light switch controlled both the light in the bathroom and the bedroom, which meant that you couldn't switch it on when others in the bedroom were asleep without disturbing them. The hot breakfast was disappointing.

My son and I stayed at the hotel for three nights on a visit to Madrid for a Champions League match. The hotels' location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the Bernabeau The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. They did all they could to make sure our visit was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel is only 50m from the metro station with easy access to allow you to explore all areas of the city. There are several good restaurants and bars within a couple of hundred metres of the hotel. The room was excellent and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and excellent service. Overall it was excellent value and I would thoroughly recommend it.

My team (Celtic) lost to Real Madrid, but we had a great time.

Everything was ok, the distance to the metro station is a 2-3 minutes walk. The room was clean and confortable. It's a good value for money, it's a 30 minutes way from the hotel to the city centre. The staff was very nice and helpful. We chose the breakfast service for one morning, but there were few options for 12 eur/person. All in all, the hotel was a good choice.

The rooms need some improvements, the furniture looks used, but all in all, the cleaning service was in the room every day of our stay. Maybe more options for breakfast.

The bathroom door. I need more privacy. It's made of cristal, so it's like if it doesn't exist.

Great location. Clean, comfortable room. But above all fantastic staff, particularly at reception! They were so helping when we were planning how to get to and from a concert during our stay and when my wallet was handed in (I’d left it on a table near the bar), they tracked me down, although we’d already checked out, and held it safely until I got back to collect it. They couldn’t have been more helpful! We’d stay there again for sure if we return to Madrid.

Everything was good and clean. Bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was included when we booked the room but the time we went down to have breakfast the staff said it's not included in the price. Same as the couple next to us. I think they need to check what they are offering. So we paid 10€ each but it's worth the price, breakfast was delicious, juices, coffee, fruits, bread and jam, all kinds of cheese and spanish ham etc. Will recommend this hotel.

Very friendly nice people work here, who will always, at any time, help you! Also, the room is always clean, comfortable, the hall is beautiful 😍 you can sit there as much as you like and go about your business! Lots of shops nearby including a great grocery store! subway 1 minute walk! 😁 I will definitely come back here again! ❤️

Amazing and fantastic experience. And I will be more than happy to visit Madrid again and stay at Ilunion Suites Madrid again and again. It almost 20 to 25 minutes walking to Santiago Bernabeu. Thanks to al the staff in reception they were friendly so much. Nasser.
