AC Hotel Palencia by Marriott

Bed very comfortable. Additional bedding available. Bathroom facilities very good with additional items - shoe cleaner, teeth cleaning kit, extra razor available from reception. Large bath towels provided. Room very spacious. Air conditioning quiet. Access to fresh air. All wooden furniture - no plastic. Value for money? Yes, definitely.

Having to pay for on-site secure parking. Paying for off-site secure parking is acceptable, on-site secure parking is not!!!! The restaurant was not available for an evening meal, why? This was a Friday evening. Did not enjoy walking into a foreign town in search a reputable restaurant after having such a long drive - 10 hours.

Parking available on site. Grassed areas close by so convenient for our dog. In view of the proximity to the city centre, the room was quiet, as we had requested.

The room wasn't particularly spacious and the view was a bit miserable, over wasteland. Felt very impersonal with, for example, a notice saying that food wasn't to be taken out from the breakfast buffet. Although we had booked a double room for 2 people, only 1 bath robe and 1 set of slippers was provided. The waste bin in the room still had rubbish in it.

Comfortable beds and reasonably spacious room, friendly and efficient staff. Good food. Secure garage parking. Good price for the room. Convenient stop off, not too far from the motorway. We've stayed here before and probably will do so again.

The room was a touch too warm for us and turning down the heat didn't make much difference. We opened the window which was fine, until the morning, when traffic noise became noticeable. (but bearable)

Check in was easy, onsite car parking, though access to car park is tight for larger cars. Room very good, comfortable bed and good shower. Good choice at breakfast. Short walk into town (15mins)

There was a group/team of 18 of children/teenagers, and the hotel staff could have been more proactive in ensuring other guest were not disturbed. Significant noise, meetings/talking in corridors etc. late evening.

The room was exceptional having a seperate lounge and bedroom with TV in each. The breakfast was unfussy and adequate on a help yourself basis. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and bathroom spacious with bath and shower.

We paid 10 Euros for the secure parking, only to be told that we had to vacate for cleaning by 8 am the next morning. We had a car full of luggage on show and we had no choice but to accept. After travelling all day we did not appreciate a 7 am start the next morning solely to move the car. no alternative spaces where available and we had to park on a busy road in the dark. surely the cleaning could have been done midday when most guests have left and the new ones are yet to arrive.

Convenient, clean and easily accessible for our travel needs. Dog friendly most areas.

Unable to take small house trained pet dog with us to breakfast, & therefore, like another couple staying during same period had to split breakfast sitting time, not wanting to leave pet in room to potentially disturb other guests with any yapping caused as a result.

A standard city centre chain hotel that was clean, comfortable and with a reasonably sized room. Breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection of food. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

It was on a busy road junction so one would have to put up with traffic noise.

Friendly, clean, comfortable as you would expect from a Marriott Free dogs. I managed to park in front of the entrance and it felt safe to leave the car there . Next door to a great value petrol station.

if I was staying a few nights I think I would have chosen a better looking location. About 15 minutes walk to the centre ( this isn’t a downside, just mentioning it)

The location is excellent, easy to find, with secure parking. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very good, with a large selection of food. The dinner menu was good.

We have stayed here several times before and the dinner has always been excellent but this time, the food was slightly too cold.

The AC Hotel is easy to find from the motorway and has both exterior and interior secure parking. It is a very modern hotel located in a retail park on the outskirts of Palencia. The restaurant served a good evening meal and breakfast.

The hotel is far from the centre of Palencia and seems to designed to accommodate business persons and travellers.
