Hotel Casona de San Andr

Hotel is very central. It's only 10mins walk from the Bus station and the main shopping area and restaurants. Outside the hotel is a lovely square where you can sit and have wine and tapas. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe in this area. The bus from the airport costs 4e and you get off at the last stop.

We stayed in room 201, which had a tiny balcony overlooking the pedestrianised, orange tree filled plaza and the church. The bed was huge and incredbly comfortable. The hotel was very centrally located, close to the Setas de Sevilla. Although the chuch bells ring regularly, they stopped during the night and the room proved to be quiet, despite its location at the front of the hotel. We would certainly stay here again if we were to return to Seville.

Virtually nothing. Our shower head dripped, so we simply laid it in the base of the bath. The bath towels were smaller, but we managed ok.

Excellent location and a very clean hotel. Beautiful reception area and very quiet all the time. Very helpful and polite staff. Great air con and a comfortable double bed.

The room was ok. I guess you pay for the location. Everything is close by. I was aware the room was an interior room facing the courtyard before my arrival, but had not taken on board how small it was going to be with a very small window that was covered in dark material - obviously to promote privacy. I was also surprised that the money was debited from my account 5 days before arrival. This is a lot earlier than usual as I opted to pay when I was there.

Location was good, lovely old building with a lovely old spanish square in front with a restaurant opposite and a church. We were a family of 3 and shared a room. Very reasonably priced for the centre of the old area. You can reach all the sights by just walking, some are a little further , but an ideal base from which to explore Seville. The city hop on and off bus was fun and gives you some historical information as well as resting your legs !

Parking and finding the place ! Historical old Seville is not just narrow streets, but quite an extensive one way system.! I found it very difficult to find our accommodation on google maps and then once found , parking is in a separate public parking lot so is quite a walk if you have big bags and obviously you have to pay extra. You don't need a car once you are at the accommodation.

Fantastic location. 24hr reception. Square in front has Cafe, restaurant. Hotel within walking distance to all monuments, the metropole viewing tower literally 3 min walk. Close to train station. Quaint Spanish style hotel with internal garden. Lovely Rooftop with tables and chairs. Loved having coffee machine in room which you can use for coffee and also tea.. Supermarkets close by. Main shopping area.

Shower leaked water on bathroom floor. A BIG PROBLEM, TV IS ONLY IN SPANISH EVEN THO SMART TV. WHATEVER I DID, COULDN'T GET ENGLISH AUDIO. STAFF EXPLAINED ITS NOT CONNECTED THRU INTERNET. THEY COULDN'T CHANGE IT TO ENGLISH. SO ALL AMERICAN PROGRAMNES IN SPANISH. NO CNN OR SKYNEWS OR BBC. IMHO A 3 STAR HOTEL CATERING FOR TOURISTS SHOULD HAVE TV AVAIL IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES.

Everything was above our expectations! From the first moment we got into hotel we liked it. The gentleman in the reception was so polite and helpful. I have been in exclusive 5* hotels but I have never had such "luxurious" treatment as in this hotel. We didn't have personal hygiene since in previous hotel we have been robbed, and we came late so no shops was working to buy a new ones (10PM) but this hotel provides free toiletries, tooth brush, tooth paste, comb, .... and also water, coffee, tea... The room and the bathroom are spacious, clean. Beds are comfortable. Even though it is 3* hotel, it looks like exclusive 5*.

Sound isolation, actually lack of it. People are yelling during the night and waking me up.

Sevilla is a small city and the location of Hotel Casona de San Andres is great for getting around to all the main attractions. The staff were very helpful in advance online and also in person. The 24 hour reception was perfect for my very late check-in and they very kindly kept my bags for a few hours after check-out. The beds are incredibly comfortable (I did not want to get up). I had a lovely stay

All my dislikes were minor and probably due to the room I was in but my single room was very basic and felt smaller and more closed off than it actually was due to the window opening out onto the hotel corridor (where there was a skylight). The shower had excellent water pressure but the taps were individual hot/cold taps. Also, it was a bit noisy as being next to the lift, I could hear the mechanisms working and the cleaning staff rolling around in the mornings, as well as the church bells from nearby.

Location: about 1 km from the main bus station, in the heart of the old city. Close to the main sights to visit (Giralda and Alcazar) about 1 km also. Those who prefer shopping, it's also very close to all big stores and malls. There's a grocery store (Aldi) right around the corner.

Noise: not aggressive but there's some noise during the night, you might take that into consideration if you're a light sleeper. I didn't have troubles with it but it's worth mentioning.

Ideal location. Very clean and tidy. Many have commented on how to use coffee machine. Hope this helps: Fill water chamber For coffee - lift front flap place pod in black pod tray. Close flap. Place cup under. Flick top lever to right for hot. For hot water only. Pull out empty pod tray and put back in. Then flip lever.

The advertisement does not do the Hotel justice…it is located in the most beautiful little square . The hotel is like a Manor House..with a beautiful internal courtyard. Our room did not have a window onto the exterior…but had instead a window opening onto the landing. iIt was so quirky! The window was screened so there was no loss of privacy. The ceilings of the room had beams. It was such a beautiful characterful building. Modern bathroom, spotlessly clean. It was also EXCEPTIONALLY good value. Once you got used to the maze of side streets…which is part of its charm…the location was only a few minutes walk from the shopping areas and about a 20 minute stroll from the Cathedral and other monuments. We stayed on a room only basis but there was a terrific little coffee shop right across the square. I cannot recommend the Casona de San Andres enough!

A little less air freshener in the corridors…the floral scent was a bit overpowering.
