Petit Palace Marques Santa Ana

We travel with our chihuahua dog and this hotel was pet friendly. It is a beautiful hotel with large rooms for Europe and was in the center of the old city so everything was within walking distance to tourists sites yet, quiet.

We were at the end of a small corridor with two other rooms right beside ours and another room a few steps away. Apparently this is a 'dog room' corridor. I believe this is a mistake because as we all know, once one dog barks they all bark. There should be only one 'dog room' per corridor to keep it quiet. fortunately, the other dogs left after 2 days and all was quiet.

Superb location, everything is close on foot. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruit juices and smoothies.

The room is not on a 4-star level. Nothing offensive, but it doesn’t meet the overall standard. E.g., the cupboard is dark (no light in it) and small (5 hangers only, which is not enough for a couple for 3 days). There was no ironing board, we had to specifically ask for a shoe cleaning kit, etc. The sound isolation of the room is not appropriate, we could hear the neighbors even when they were having a normal conversation.

Everything! The room was immaculate, comfortable, and the a/c and wifi worked excellently. We were on the third floor and had easy access to the rooftop which had magical views of the Cathedral and Giralda. It was such a nice outdoor common area! We also really appreciated the service. María in reception took such good care of us from the moment we walked in the door. And the location of this hotel can't be beat - you're within walking distance to main attractions like the Cathedral, and also close to excellent restaurants (we would recommend La Canasta and Señora Pan). We couldn't have picked a better hotel!

We had zero complaints!

Lobby was beautiful and staff were professional and welcoming. Our family suite was perfect. Bunk beds in separate area and very comfortable bed in parents area. Enough storage. Safe was operated with credit card system which was a little different. Everything you needed. It was winter and the heater worked well. It almost got too warm at times so we had to open the large glass doors leading to the balcony. Everything was very modern and very clean. We enjoyed the view from the rooftop one evening. Complimentary water was helpful. The bathroom had a great shower with very good water pressure. It was clean and modern. No lock on bathroom door though and we found there was a slight odour coming up from the sink. We had to keep spraying perfume when we used the bathroom. We would love to stay here again if we returned to Seville.

A lock on the bathroom door is a suggestion. An additional chair in the parents area would have been useful. Also just look into the odour from the bathroom basin. Minor issues, but this may be important to others

Best thing about this hotel is that it is in a very central location. Staff were very helpful and loved the cleanliness of the hotel.

Parking in the hotel was quite a hassle with a big car as you have to manouevre to get into a lift. Expected the room to be bigger and did not have much storage space. The 2 breakfast rooms were rather small and could get quite crowded.

Great location, just some steps away from the Cathedral but still quite enough that you don't get any noise in the night (at least on a Thursday night in February, might be different in the summer). The room was quite big and very comfortable and even had a water boiler for tea (since we were s bit sick, we were thankful for this). Breakfast with wide variety for Spanish standards.

Yes, breakfast was in general great, just stay away from the pseudo scrambled eggs... It was as if they poured too much milk into the mix 🤣 take a boiled egg instead!

Excellent location near the cathedral. Staff were so helpful and positive and spoke good English! Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Room a good size for city centre. Beds comfortable and bathroom a good size.

Spanish hotels do not seem to think that providing tea of coffee equipment is necessary. It’s a downgrade as far as I am concerned. To operate the safe one was expected to use one’s own credit card as the safe “would store the details “ without making a debit on it. In these days of data breaches that does not strike me as something I wanted to do.

Exceptional staff service , so welcoming & professional. Always a Hola + adios when leaving or returning for the day ..Great lobby ...really elegant . Breakfast was really fresh & beautifully presented . Great vegan options!! Upgraded my room to a double immediately..no problem Complimentary coffee all day .. Held onto luggage on last day while waiting to go to aerport.. Hotel itself is brilliantly located... 10 mins from Cathedral , Palace + all major attractions .

Nothing!!

Hotel was very close to the main area by the cathedral, turn right then left out the hotel there was a cheap shop for groceries. Didn't have breakfast as we eat locally to try other places. They have a lift which was handy with suitcases. Saff were wonderful and speak English which helped, and they could not do enough for you very welcoming. This hotel has pretty much all you need without any doubt.

The location is central and romantically tucked away in the old part of town. Rooms were good and clean.

You need very good nerves and driving skills to manage the hotel parking if your car is bigger than a Fiat 500. The garage is accessible via a narrow gateway (2 cm on either side) and an even narrower car elevator. To reach the buttons of the elevator, if you drive alone, you have to climb halfway out of the window. But if you make it without any permanent markings on your vehicle you really feel your car is safe in a historic vault 😅!
