Hotel El Águila

Our room was white and fresh looking…the mattress was extremely comfortable, possibly a memory foam one? The rainforest shower was amazing, so lovely after a lovely drive…we didn’t sample the good unfortunately, as we arrived late, left early…plenty of parking, outside space for snacks & drinks…excellent for a budget style hotel ⭐️ Dog friendly too…

There was of course a mirror in the room, but a long length one immediately by the entrance to the room, I would have preferred it by the desk/dressing table personally…the outside area was fine, but unless it was warm, it was in the shade, so no good for us to sit and have a meal, with our little dog…

Love this hotel, good quiet location on an industrial estate, which is obviously very quiet at night, and good place to walk the dog. Asked for a disabled room and they gave us a family room as it is much larger and easier for my partner to move around. Normally good food in the restaurant at a reasonable price, however due to bad planning on my part, i booked to travel on a bank holiday/fiesta, so the restaurant was closed. Good selection of items on the breakfast menu.

There were some families there, I get the feeling they may be refugees, that is obviously not an issue, but just wish they would keep their young children under control, instead of allowing them to run about, not something that is really in the control of the hotel.

The hotel was in a quiet location but very close to the Autovia and Autopista, direction Pamplona. The room was compact with a large king size bed (4 pillows), wall-mounted TV and a small, modern bathroom with shower. It was also very clean. The Aircon worked well, thankfully!

Although I slept well, my wife had a very bad night as she found the mattress exceptionally hard and had to lie on top of one of the pillows. Everything else was fine.

We have been using this Hotel for a number of years travelling to Spain from the UK. It is very easy to get to from the main route we take and has lots of shops and bars close by with car. The 2nd floor of the Hotel has been refurbished and we found it excellent. The bed, bedding and pillows gave us the most comfortable nights sleep on our 4 day journey. The room was clean and bright, air-con perfect, shower perfect. Looking forward to returning when the full refurbishment is complete.

TV is too small

Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was being refurbished, we should have been informed of this before our arrival. After travelling 2 days we found some noise in the afternoon broke our need to relax. For a 3* hotel there should be tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Also the hotel is proud to welcome all nationalities therefore there should be at least a news channel on the television in English. We went to the hotel restaurant but struggled to not find a vegetarian option (without shellfish), Even a pizza added to the menu would offer an alternative. They where very accommodating with our request and we enjoyed our meal.

Not a complaint at all but location was on an industrial estate, due to it being August the Hotel was very quiet and the Restaurant was closed. We were able to get a delivery of food with no issues

Ideal location for half way stop between Costa Brava and Santander. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plenty of sockets in the room Wifi good. Shower powerful. Car parking good. Google maps are misleading when trying to get here.

Not hotels fault but google maps are misleading. Previous room guests dirty habits of dropping cigarette butts out the window. No tea making facilities.

Very large room with pleasant decor and comfortable beds, the hotel is just off a very busy road, but there was not any traffic noise to be heard. Also it has a small garden for walking the dog, but as it is also on the edge of an industrial estate, (don't let that put you off) there was plenty of places to walk . Loved the covid measures, disposable gloves to wear when helping yourself to the buffet breakfast.

I did find it a little difficult to find, as the nearest the Sat Nav could get was the small town of Utebo, which I went around several times before an exceptionally helpful post office worker was able to direct me, with his broken English and my terrible Spanish I managed to find my way. But the instructions that come with the booking aren't that helpful.

This is a great place to stay, if your going north, south, east or west and you need a place to stay near Zaragoza this is that place. yes it’s in an industrial estate, and there’s not many places to walk to. you’ll enjoy a good nights sleep, with good food, a quiet room and an excellent breakfast.

The room was a good size, clean and with a good size comfortable bed. Nice shower with non-slip floor. The fridge in room was a good idea.

Food in restaurant not so good. We ordered entrecote steak at extra cost which to be honest was not good quality.
