NH Ciudad de Zaragoza

I escaped to this hotel from a bad Airbnb, and it was such a peaceful, air-conditioned godsend in the heat and noise of a summer weekend in Zaragoza. It’s right by the old town, but does not suffer from the shouty roaming drunks at 4am that seemed to be an issue in my previous location. The room was very comfortable, and to add to the peace it had an extra door separating the bedroom from the hallway so there was no disturbance from other guests in the corridor (quite rare in hotels from my experience). Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the view from my room was lovely.

Great location. Easily accessible and close to many great attractions. Clean, good sized rooms and a decent breakfast buffet.

There’s plenty of parking on-site. Unfortunately, my wife decided she didn’t need my help parking the car and caused about £2k’s worth of damage to our car. Once in the car park, yes it’s tight, but eminently manageable. We had a BMW 5-Series with a Thule roof-box (total height: 1.9m) and there was plenty of room (height-wise), despite what my wife said. She is right, in as much as the car park entrance is very tight. Be extra specially careful if it’s wet outside, it is possible to slide on the steep downward slope. PS. It was dry when we were there.

the location was excellent! our junior suite was large with a very large comfortable bed and bedding was nice. Nice views of the river. Very close to the Basilica and Plaza Pilar and lots of restaurants. Great river walks.

The restaurant was closed for lunch daily. Bar and restaurant closed on Sunday. No pool or rooftop terrace. Parking underground was very tight to manoeuvre for our Cx5 Mazda…if fact it got scraped trying to turn getting out. Staff was friendly enough but not many around. But hotel was clean and modern and the location for us was perfect.

Stayed in Zaragoza for work. The location is very central (with a tram stop just outside) and very close to the Plaza del Pilar; the staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the room was spacious with all necessary amenities, and the view from the room was out of this world (sunrise and sunset over the river). Breakfast was also abundant and tasty. They even went out of their way to provide me with a jug of almond milk in the mini bar. Would love to stay there again soon.

The hotel's location is brilliant. I loved the view from my room overlooking the square and being so close to the river. I walked everywhere and occasionally used the tram (right outside the hotel) to visit family or go further afield. The wifi was brilliant, and as I was working remotely, I was on video calls almost all day and had no issues. The breakfast was great, the staff were super polite, and the hotel was quiet. I felt really at home and ended up extending my stay.

The bar was small, and the hotel lacked social spaces, so you had to go out if you want some atmosphere, which I didn't mind, but it would be nice to stay in when tired. If you're a solo traveller, having a better social space would make a difference.

The hotel is very close to the center and has a useful tram station in front of it. Everything looks new and polished and very clean. The staff is wonderful and replied promptly to every need. They also arranged a room adapted for disabled visitors.

They gave me a room on the first floor facing the road. For me was not a problem but I can understand that is was not full silent, because sometimes you can hear emergency vehicles sirens and the tram stopping and starting. Not a big deal for me, but a warning if you need full silence to sleep.

Property very centric, clean, the parking a bit uncomfortable due to the entrance and too narrowed, small car it’s doable not big.

I will comment about the room, well we went in November where after weeks of hot weather suddenly it changed to cold and the hotel only provide at this time heater system only which I would understand later on where it goes way down but now, no other option, ended opening the bathroom window but still no breeze. So the air does not circulate and the room was warm. Some of the things you need to adjust and accept when you travel.

This was a great experience. This hotel has a superb location! We arrived by car - hotel is very close to the ring/highway but on the way we passed two free public parkings just before the bridge. We parked our car there for free and then walked across the bridge, just 250m to the hotel. Hotel is just across the street from Plaza del Pillar and the biggest sight in Zaragoza. Ideal! This way we saved on almost 21 EUR of parking fee per day if we were to park in the hotel garage. We asked for a room overlooking the basilica and were grated our request so we had an amazing view. Breakfast was amazing, we appreciated that they (upon request) provided fresh vegetables, they even had a salad, avocado and guacamole, which was great! The rooms are big, clean and the bed is very comfortable. You are provided with 0,5l bottle of water, coffee and tea maker. Super. The staff is very nice and accomodating. We recommend this hotel!

Great location close to the Pilar Plaza; friendly reception; spacious room; good wifi. My room had a great view of the Ebro River. Breakfast was not included in my staff, and though a bit pricey it offered great quality and variety, with attentive staff. The hotel also offers and evening meal and a bar, though hours are limited.

Not a complaint, but the minimalist decor seems due for a makeover; the hotel has "good bones" but isn't stylish at this point. There was only liquid soap, not shampoo and conditioner. The door of my room wouldn't shut without being more or less slammed.

The location is excellent. Close to all the main sights, restaurants and right by the Enron river. We got a room with a river view and part of the Basilica, which was absolutely beautiful. Room was nice and clean. Bes was comfortable and the bathroom was big enough although there was no bidet. I like the new trend of having bigger refillable pump bottles for the soaps, which means less plastic pollution. Even the shower cap, coffee capsules and teabags were made with recyclable material. We got complementary water and coffee every day and free breakfast. Having a garage on-site was also a big plus.

Nothing much really except that the furnishings were too bland for my taste. I also prefer a shower to a bathtub.
