AC Hotel Colón Valencia by Marriott

First time in Valencia and could not have stayed at a better hotel. From the first step inside the hotel to the last step out nothing ever too much trouble for any staff member. Great location, great facilities and excellent staff. No complaints or negatives about my stay it was all very positive. Very professional, helpful staff who presented themselves amazingly well, who were always willing to help and provided advice and directions for all major sight seeing locations. If I visited Valencia again this hotel will always be my first choice.

The shower was very nice with very good water pressure and temperature options. Check in and check out went very smoothly and the staff was very friendly. The location was great with good access to the metro and a number of nice restaurants and cafés.

The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and I struggled to sleep through the night because of it. You also weren't able to control the lights near the bed with the switches next to the door which was a little annoying at times.

The location was excellent. Most of the city's sightseeing is close by. A metro station is very near and many stores are in proximity. The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was excellent and willing to provide any help needed.

The room was smaller than expected. The desk it should be larger -at least for those who travel for work- also there were not so many plugs around the room. Breakfast could be better in terms of variety.

The hotel was in a great location .. right next to the main shopping area, railway station and the Bull ring and within walking distance of all main attractions. Rooms were very clean and modern, a little on the small side and no great views but it’s all about location. Very comfortable beds. Tea, coffee and mini bar in room. The breakfast and breakfast service was good. Food always very fresh and well stocked. Hotel receptionists we’re very helpful and knowledgeable.. our first visit to the city and we’d travelled specifically for the Fallas festival which was brilliant and highly recommended. We were each given a traditional Fallas scarf on check-in which was a lovely welcoming touch. The city gets very busy at the weekend during the festival so would recommend booking restaurants well in advance as we struggled a few times.

Didn't have breakfast here Location was very good; 2 mins walk from metro on a direct line to the airport, 3 mins walk to Valencia North Station and the old city just across the road. All the main sites in the city were walkable within 10-15 minutes and the science park within 40 minutes

Good location close to the old town and close to excellent public transport links. very clean and well serviced.

The room was comfortable but very dark with almost no daylight. The layout of the room was bizarre with the shower opening directly into the bedroom and the washbasin in the bedroom. Quite expensive

We’ve stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. First of all I would like to thank all the stuff of the hotel and in particular Beatriz, who has made our trip more colourful and full of emotions. She indicated us a lot of prettiest restaurants and bars and we really have enjoyed our staying in Valencia, appreciating the hospitality, good food and the coziness of the hotel. Every evening it was like turning home, where you are welcomed with a smile. Thank you very much for all. And yes! completely excellent!

It was a perfect place to be near every thing ... Shopping , restaurants, city hall, and most of the monuments to visit. Taxi station was just besides the hotel.. For those that appreciate the train there was a subway station at two minutes that can bring you any where in the city and the airport.. Really Great..

Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. Literally a 5 min walk from the train station, metro, eateries and shopping area. Perfect for our needs.

I didnt think the room was good value for money. For over £200 a night I would expect a much bigger room than this. The water in the shower was inconsistent in its heat and on one morning we had no water whatsoever. There was no shower gel in our room or any kind of moisturiser. For this sort of money this should be standard surely?

The size of the gym and its equipment was lacking with not enough space or amount of equipment. It would be really nice to have more dumbbells' benches and more bikes and treadmills.
