Casual Socarrat Valencia - Adults Only

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a room on the 4th floor which was very spacious, well lit and modern. The bathroom had a lovely modern walk-in shower and the shower controls were easy to use. The bed was huge and super comfortable, as were the pillows. Although the hotel is situated on a busy main road the traffic at night is minimal and so we were not disturbed at all. From the hotel it is only a 5 minute walk up the road to the main public square and start of the old town. There are several important museums close by. There is a bus stop 100m up the road which is used by the circular C1 route (which goes clockwise around the old town) and the No 31 bus takes you all the way to the north beach and back. We will definitely be staying at the hotel again on our next visit to Valencia in 2024.

A cute hotel with extremely friendly staff. The breakfast, although simple, was good value for money. Also, I must commend the location: many historic buildings and squares, restaurants, shops and public transport stops are in the vicinity.

A very loud and somewhat leaky AC. Also, the TV did not respond very well to the remote control, but we dosn't spend much time watching TV, so to us it was just a minor inconvenience. The fridge could work better and a kettle in the room would be a njce touch, but otherwise you get what you pay for and what you may expect at a 3* hotel.

Very well located, in the heart of the old town, so it was very easy to get around. The metro station and the bus station are both 5 min away. The rooms were very clean (just like in the pictures) and were cleaned daily (I've seen 5* hotels skip your room once in a while). The breakfast was good, but you have to book your spot in advance as the breakfast room is very small. It didn't bother us, we chose the same time slot for all days and it was just fine (you have 30 min time slots). Staff was very friendly and helpfull.

The rooms are a bit noisy, as you can hear everything from the street in front and we had the misfortune of some construction works outside, which were very loud.

Very well located hotel in the old city, walking distance to the main interest points. Nice and helpful staff, cool designed rooms, very clean, quality matress, bed linen and towels. We especially enjoyed the small details that make the difference: welcome bottle of water, personalized stickers even on the toilet paper and bathroom mirror, two different pillows to choose from. Good and diverse breakfast, we didn't mind coming at scheduled time (as breakfast room can accomodate maximum 20 people at once).

Doors could be better isolated, you could see the light from the hallway when dark in the room. But it was not a problem for us, as our room was at the end of the hallway and no neighbours passed by.

The hotel is in a great location, not too far from the nearest Metro station, making it easy to get to from the Airport. It is also close enough to walk to the old part of the city where a lot of the tourist attractions are. The staff were very helpful, friendly, efficient and spoke good English. On arrival we requested, and got, a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The room wasn't large but it was adequate for our needs, very clean, had a very large and comfy bed and a good shower. Breakfast was fine. It was mainly continental but there was a hot option of scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms. There were cereals, yoghurts, fruit, Danish pastries, toast etc. Hot drinks machine for coffee. All in all, this hotel well met our expectations.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like other than possibly having somewhere to sit and relax eg a lounge area but since we were out sightseeing for most of the day this wasn't a major issue for us.

Nice location with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was really big with lots of light and a great balcony to watch the street from. The bed was excellent and sleep was deep and restful. The breakfast room is quite small so you have an allocated time but this was not a problem and the food was good. No hesitation in recommending this smart and vibey hotel for when you visit beautiful Valencia.

Not much not to like. Tea and coffee in the room would have been good but not a deal breaker. Good hotel 👍🏻

In general, the staff were mostly very friendly and helpful when I had questions or issues. My first room, which was quite large, was on the first floor and and the street side. It was incredibly loud (and I am pretty used to loud as I lived on a very busy street for decades.) I kept thinking the windows were open. They could not move me the first night, but were luckily able to on my 2nd night. The 2nd room was quite a bit smaller, although, totally fine for just me, but the A/C was not fully working. I felt bad and did not want to complain again, as it just took a lot longer to cool the room, but it actually got worse and worse and eventually said something but that was completely my fault I did not mention it earlier. But the rooms are cute. There isn't really any common area except for the breakfast room. Both rooms were clean and the mattresses very comfortable. I only did the breakfast onsite once. It was quite a decent selection. The location in general, was quite good, with the exception of being on a busy street, but being in the old town, I walked to lots of sites, plus tons of restaurants and stores, and it's convenient to several buses and the Colon Metro station and maybe a 15-20 minute walk to the North Train station.

Mostly the noise if you're staying on the front side of the property. Also, not sure why the TVs were mounted insanely high up (almost just a few inches below the ceiling,) in my first room, 2nd room had much higher ceilings. Maybe they want to make it tougher to steal or bump/damage? It was just a bit odd, but not an actual complaint.

The location was excellent, very central. You can walk everywhere. Very safe neighbourhood, well connected to public transport. The metro station is very close, 5/10 minutes walking so extremely convenient. The breakfast was not to our liking so we had it at the hotel only once. There are plenty of coffee shops and small cafes close by.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean with modern decor and plush furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was well - maintained and stocked with high quality toiletries (like my fav brand Rituals). The shower had excellent water pressure. The customer service at the reception was absolutely amazing. The receptionists were friendly, attentive and always ready to assist with any requests.

Everything was perfect in a single word. The rooms were spotless, and all the staff members were very friendly and helpful. They even gave us an umbrella when it was raining, without us asking for it. The umbrellas were of very high quality :) The location is also perfect. It's right next to the old town and on the main street. If we come to Valencia again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel once more.
