Vincci Mercat

We were treated very well and promptly by staff when we had a slight issue with our room. Facilities were excellent and breakfast was very adequate with plenty of choice. The location for the old town was superb. Three minutes away from the main market, Only ten minutes away from the Cathedral and five minutes from the main square. Highlightis: the Oceanographic and surrounding area. Do try and visit during the FALLAS festival in mid March as the City is buzzing all day and night.

There is nothing nit to like. All the people we encountered were friendly and tourists are made to feel very welcome.

The placement of the hotel is super central and the staff is super! You get an awesome smile from them everyday,besides a smile if you ask for recommendations they will help you out greatly! I got a bottle of champagne and chocolates for my birthday too, which was a great surprise. The airco works superwell and the temperature overall in the hotel is super cool,so we were never too hot. Even though we stayed there during the heatwave. The rooms and the hotel is super neat and clean. Also you can get a great breakfast for just €13,something daily. One bummer the pool is not really that big, but you can chill there nicely.

Room was clean, the bed was very big and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, fresh orange juice and good choice of sweet/salty dishes. Personnel has been very kind and helpful with recommendations. The swimming pool is not big, but it was clean, had a nice colour and temperature, and it was great to spend some moments there in the afternoons with a drink and a book in hand. We always found places to sit down even if the space is not big. Finally, the location can't be better to visit the city center.

Everything was great overall. There is no sofa in standard rooms so nowhere to spend some time other than in bed, but you can see that in the pictures. Towels are provided for free for the swimming pool but for 5 euros per towel to have the right to take them to the beach. In light of the overall room price and additional sources of revenue (bar, restaurant, etc.), this service might have been provided for free even if the price is not excessive.

Ideal location right in centre of old city. Room was spacious and bed large and comfortable, with a nice shower-room. Breakfast was excellent, wide choice of fruits, pastries, home-made smoothies, meats and cheese and some hot food. Staff on reception desk were helpful and always available. Secure underground parking available at the hotel (for an extra fee) although you don't need a car in Valencia.

Quite expensive but I guess you pay for the location. Limited hot food selection for breakfast. Rooftop pool is a plunge pool. Hotel bar is just a corner of the restaurant, although there are many many bars and cafes nearby

Well, I don't know how to start! Everything is more than perfect. The story began when I arrived at reception, three wonderful ladies; Tersesa, Estefana & Laura, welcomed me with their wonderful smiles. They were very professional, helpful & friendly at the same time. The room was fantastic & very comfortable. The location is in the middle of everything. The swimming pool at the roof is so nice. The staff at the pool are also very friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing at sunset & night. Finally, since the best is for last, I have to mention this. I'm a traveller & I have been in more than 30 countries in my life so you can imagine how much people I've dealt with in all those cities, hotels, motels, etc. I can't be more thankful to the most wonderful staff that I've ever met in my life; Maria & Pako. I needed their help many times getting some information and changing some reservation stuff, and oh my God, unbelievable! Super friendly, super helpful, super professional & super amazing. I will never ever forget these amazing two; Maria & Pako. Thank you guys sooo much. You are the best of the best of the best.  Creme de la creme. I wish you all the best in your life & career, and I'm pretty sure that you'll shine and become very successful. Honestlly, I'm very thankful to everyone at Vincci Mercat Valencia. They are highly highly recommended. And now after three successful experiences (Vincci Madrid, Porto & Valencia), my choice -and on the top of anyone- will always be Vincci wherever I travel. Very good position, at the center of the old city, between the Market and the City Hall. But there was no noise from the street, since it was a secondary one. Very friendly and helpful staff. We got a room with a huge matrimonial bed. Bathromm with twin washbasin and a large shower. The pool on the roof was very good for relazing after a day of walking around, only that too many people had the same idea. If we come back to Valencia, we would surely book here.

Nothing worth mentioning. It would have been nice to have a bidet in the bathroom, but it is not usual outside Italy.

The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff, both at reception and in breakfast room; The standard of food at breakfast buffet; The location is excellent, so close to the market and other attractions in this wonderful city!

The rooms were lovely but not sound- proofed and being a light sleeper, I was awakened by traffic and chatter down the side street. Our room was on the 3rd floor but we still heard a lot. While there was a pool, it was really small so only for a quick swim - would prefer a balcony in the room.

Perfectly located for walking to see the sights of Valencia. The hotel had underground parking that was difficult to locate. We parked the car and walked to the hotel to ask for help. The receptionist was wonderful and she stepped outside the hotel to show us. With the local map, we would never have found it. The rooftop plunge pool and bar is a nice place to relax .

We were tired and decided to eat in the restaurant. The food was horrible! instead of “Fish and chips”, my husband got FISH FINGERS and chips. I ordered a burger and fries, and abandoned it in favour of a bag of crisps in our room. To give credit, the following morning, the buffet breakfast was fantastic.

(1) Aina made check in easy. The bedroom was great with a large comfortable bed. No shortage of hot water in the shower (2) the location was right next to the central market with a few small supermarkets nearby for water etc (3) the restaurant in the square has terrific pizza (4) I spent Christmas day by the pool enjoying the sun. However all the other days (because I was busy seeing the city, I didn't get to enjoy sun on the roof (5) staff were alwasy helpful in offering guidance on how they would travel to a location and that was very helpful

I can't think of a thing that could have been better

The property was in a super location, 5-10 minutes from most of the attractions but far enough away from the crowds to not be noisy. Our room (212) was just big enough but the bathroom was a good size too. it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were super too. Maria who checked us in was very helpful.

The pool wasn’t really big enough to do lengths but probably great in the summer to cool off.
