Hotel Alpha Thun

Hotel Alpha Thun exceeded my expectations, the bus stop to thun train station is just outside the hotel. The lake is just a few steps away.The staff made you feel like family. Its centrally located and thun is such a magical place. The rooms are clean and fresh. Thank you Anita, Pao, Layane and the breakfast staff.Thank you for your superior service and kindness, will come back for sure

Not one bad thing about this hotel

to staff here was excellent It was ideal for us staff cudnt do enough fir you the rooms spotless and cleaned every day veds very comfortable we had our dinner here it was perfect and continental breakfast was excellent i definitely would recommend this gem iff a hotel thank you. Leonira and Audrey.was myself and a friend that stayed here for 4 nights we loved everything from ioutside to inside this hotel the location was brillabt outside the door if hotel was a bus stop in which it was a great service the facilities

The parking situation is fantastic across the street. Good value too! CHF4 for 24 hours. Plus, the marina and sports venues, and lakeside are all right there. It is a beautiful place to hang out. Picnic. Water sports. Second thing: The No 1 bus stop is right in front of Hotel Alpha Thun. The Hotel offers a free bus pass as well. Super convenient as it is a direct ride right into the center of Thun. And all that encompasses. Just a Great Set-Up. Third: The Hotel itself. Great staff. Clean. Very efficiently run. And Great Value. We will be visiting again. For Sure!

It was all Perfect!

- Great value for the money - Perfect location - Smooth check in/out - Coffee machine in the lobby - Mountain view from my room - Big bathroom - Reasonable selection for breakfast - The room was rather simple but clean though

- It was still like 30min until the end of the breakfast time and the staff was already cleaning everything around very loud

Very good money-value ratio. It's a bit old but clean. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

Reception closes at 8pm. Although we asked for a late check in, and they confirmed it, we were unable to enter the hotel when we arrived. Doors had a code lock which they didn't provide. Luckily, while we were trying to figure out what to do, another guest came by and opened the door for us. Key to our room was waiting for us at the reception. If it wasn't for this chance encounter we would be sleeping in the car probably :)

Room was good size, nice view of the marina. Breakfast was delicious.

The beds are made of metal and very noisy and the mattress is super soft.

Very nice and clean hotel. Very easy and straightforward to locate and get checked in. The receptionist on our arrival was incredibly helpful and friendly and we felt very welcomed.

The member of staff available during the morning of our second stay was a bit rude and dismissive of us, and seemed to be spending their time talking to their friends outside which made them difficult to reach and unapproachable.

They provide early breakfast，which is convenient for the travelers.

Wide breakfast selection, bus stop is in front of the hotel (public transit is free with a print out the hotel gives), cheap parking (4CHF for 24h) parking lot is located across the street.
