Hotel Seepark Thun

Absolutely beautiful location. The hotel is very well designed and surrounded by plenty of trees. It is probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The lake Thun is right behind the hotel, and you can enjoy the scenic view while having your food outside or inside the hotel restaurant. Excellent breakfast and overall a very good facility, we enjoyed our stay.

We observed that the older staff of the breakfast restaurant had little bit of an attitude and were not that helpful like the younger staff.

The hotel's location next to the lake was absolutely stunning. We were delighted to find that we could easily rent e-bikes from the hotel, allowing us to embark on a picturesque tour around Thuner- and Brienzsee. Additionally, the availability of canoes added another layer of enjoyment to our stay.

There was no coffee machine or even a kettle in the room. When I asked for warm water at the bar, I was informed that it would be charged. Later, they offered to give me warm water from the tap, but only after I mentioned that I needed it for medication did I receive boiled water without an additional charge. However, the person working at the bar was not very polite. The room was quite warm during the night. When we tried to sleep with the window open, we were disturbed by screams from outside, which woke us up a few times. The spa facilities were nice, but there was information indicating that it was textile-free. So, we arrived as we were, but most people were wearing swimwear. While that would have been fine, some people were also taking pictures, which was uncomfortable.

This is a fantastic hotel in a superb location on the lakeside that also has wonderful facilities such as the spa/sauna. The room was a reasonable size and had a small balcony with table and chairs to be able to enjoy the warm weather. The room was also well equipped and provided us with everything we needed. Guests of the hotel also benefit from a local travel pass that gets you free access to the busses to travel around the local area. Ideal for getting in/out of Thun, although it is only a 10-15min walk.

It was warm when we stayed and it wasn't clear how the heating in the room would be used to cool the space. Otherwise no other issues, it was a lovely hotel.

The upgrade that the hotel offered me was truly incredible. The view of the suite and the thoughtful details are admirable. Bed and pillows are above average in terms of comfort. The size of the suite was above the average. I was very pleased with the binoculars provided to watch the orchid and lake view left on the table. There is a library with books from world history in the lobby. You can have a good time with them. You can have nice trips by the lake with the electric bikes that you provide helmet and keys from the hotel lobby. As a location, it is close to important touristic places in Intarlaken region by car.

breakfast menu was below hotel standard. I expected the cheese section and the croissant section to be larger.

It's much nicer to stay at this hotel than we originally thought. The rooms are cleanand spacious and best of all - the restaurant and bar are excellent. It has free underground parking and is quite massive so we could book a lot of single occupancy rooms of a decent size. There's a SPA and you can walk in the park and by the lake.

The staff although helpful sometimes was lost and struggling to meet all of our strange demands (we were quite a large group and sometimes needed, like... 12 pre-packed breakfasts to go) - I think the language barrier might've been a problem.

Amazing location with direct access and view of the lake. The hotel is great and so is the food, but the highlight definitely is the staff. They are extremely friendly, proactive, helpful, willing to go the extra mile to meet guests requests and all of that always with a smile.

The rooms are fairly small for two people with two luggages. They also sadly don’t look out to the lake (as far as I know, only the business meeting rooms do). The breakfast buffet is quite small.

The staffs are very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel's facilities are amazing. I love the spa section. It is massive with multiple sauna room, relaxing room, etc. Drinks and snacks are also provided in the spa section. All the little details are well prepared and provided (i.e. fruits are provided and setup nicely on the hall way, spa is always clean and tidy, etc.)

Breakfast area can be very noisy and crowed in the morning. Would be better if the staff remind customers to keep a bit more quiet.

A good hotel located on the lake. With a fantastic restaurant and bar - really surprising good quality food. Spacious rooms and very quiet.

Shower is designed in a way which makes the water go across the bathroom floor, out of the bathroom door and into the room corridor.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We loved having drinks and meals overlooking the lake and walking the trails around the lake. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was wonderful and vegan options were excellent. Easy access to busses, but walking is also easy.

We were very happy with everything. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever lived! It’s located quite close to the lake, you can enjoy wonderful lake view when having breakfast. The staffs are so kind, and it even provides free bicycles and bus tickets! The rooms are very clean and conformable. I’ll definitely live in this hotel again when I go to Thun in the future.
