Aberdeen Motel

We did not have breakfast, however there were facilities for tea and coffee and a microwave if you needed to heat anything up. The room was dated, but the room was exceptionally clean, bed was perfectly comfortable. Lovely table and chair outside room to sit and enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. Staff friendly and helpful. We love the old style motels where you drive your car up to the front door, no steps to climb; and you feel like you are back in the 1960s, 70s and/or 1980s.

Ruth was very accommodating with our complicated booking request for 5 rooms across 2 days and helped us sort it all out patiently. Great location right between Muswellbrook and Scone, quiet, scenic and not too far away from the buzz. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything as expected. Great barbecue area and a swimming pool. Pets allowed was a big plus for us.

Swimming pool could have been cleaner. No dishwashing detergent or scrub in the room.

The breakfast was delivered the evening before so we were able to have a basic breakfast - cereal, toast, fruit, juice in the morning. Very reasonable cost. Lovely hosts who are putting a lot of work into making the motel more comfortable and appealing for their guests.

Nothing really other than we are used to very quiet surroundings and we found the traffic (mainly big trucks) a bit noisy during the night. it would probably not bother some people.

Comfortable beds. Having a toaster and microwave in the room is an excellent idea. The pool looked welcoming and the surrounding garden very well tended.

Not knowing that breakfast wasn't available, I would have brought breakfast food if I had known before hand that a toaster and microwave were provided in the room.

Access to the room was good, and parking close to the room was very helpful. The room was very clean, fresh and had no odours. The showers were good to use with a good flow of water, which is essential if you are wanting to wash your hair.

Unfortunately the beds and pillows were hard. Having a basic breakfast available would have been helpful. A chair or 2 for sitting outside would be helpful. It was so nice and cool on the verandah.

This would be one of the nicest cleanest motels that we have stayed at for a long time, close to eating areas, really lovely motel to stay at and clean, lovely clean sheets, bed cover and room. Very impressed, well done to the managers of this property, 10 out of 10

Nothing, absolutely 💯

Very clean and well appointed. The team rang us while we were in transit and arranged our room so we could just arrive and settle in.

Location was a little loud (lots of trucks) but didn't impact us. If you're a lighter sleeper, take ear plugs.

Great location - no restaurant though, but only a short drive to Muswellbrook for an evening meal. The room was quite spacious and very comfortable. It was vert clean, everything worked and the beds were great.

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open.

The room was really comfortable and well maintained! The staff were friendly and up for a chat about local history! Great location on the outskirts of town & only 10mins to Muswellbrook or Scone!

The lady at reception was warm ,friendly and jovial which was warmly received. The location suited us and although located on the main road we were not Bothered by noise. The room was very very clean despite being a bit older.

The bed was a bit hard but all linen etc was very clean.
