Simple, but clean, and surprisingly quiet given its location. I could hear traffic and trains outside the room, but inside I could hear very little. Bed was comfortable, and floor was clean, and bathroom had heaps of warm water available.

Not critical, but it appears that a few rooms had noisy doors that caught when opening and closing, including my room - this was fine, just slightly noisy for myself and people in adjacent rooms when I arrived back late, I heard the same noise when another room opened their door as well.

Location is in walking distance to the main street grocery, coffee & others shops. Now that the Scone Bypass is operating, Kelly St traffic noise past the motel isn't noticeable. Plenty of parking.

Hot water took a long time to come through in the bathroom. With current Kelly St roadworks & diversions, you had to detour a bit to get to the motel but that's not the motels fault.

The room we stayed in was a huge, beautiful room on the second floor of the historic Airlie House. It was very quiet, clean, character-filled and comfortable. Lovely comfy warm bed. The Manager was friendly and helpful. It was a handy location and we had a short walk to the Scone RSL Club for dinner.

The room was cold, but we expected that being Winter and a historic house with (beautiful) high ceilings. The air conditioning did warm it to a more comfortable temperature after awhile but had to be left on to keep it warm enough. More milk for tea and coffee would have been handy.

Unfortunately we had an early start and we’re not able to avail ourselves of the service. The room was very spacious and the grounds very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a problem to them.

We could not fault the room, staff or motel it itself. We would have love to have been able to stay for another few days only time did not permit.

Very quiet area. Close to restaurants etc for dinner. Nice to have a toaster and microwave p, plus cutlery. Booking in was pleasant

I would love to see the restaurant in this beautiful old house open again. The house looks magnificent a grand piece of history

Very close to where are party was I thought the grounds was very clean rooms very comfortable everything you needed in room the only thing I didn’t like was I thought beds wasn’t comfortable as I expected but other then that very happy indeed I would stay again

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The room was a nice size.

Because of the layout of the hotel, I could hear people standing outside my bathroom window chatting and smoking while I was using the bathroom.

Clean and comfortable, no noise from other rooms or the highway, only an occasional train whistle, which wasn't a problem.

The flies. Also room is quite dark: had to have lights on.

That it was built around a fabulous historic mansion. New owner will no doubt be undertaking works to return the swimming pool to its former glory.

Would have liked to open a window during the night but no screens.

Central location

We booked and paid for a Queen room, but got a room with a tiny double bed. There was plenty of room for queen bed to be in that room, so don't understand why there wasn't one
