Bundanoon Country Inn Motel

Highly recommend the Bundanoon Country Inn Motel. Our first contact was before arrival when I rang to say we were delayed on the road - not a problem and the heater was turned on for us and key left in the door, it was so nice to arrive to a warm comfy room. The bed was large and very comfortable and the electric blanket very welcome, great water pressure in the shower, the coffee machine was easy to use, the fridge worked well, in fact the room had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. It was great to have such a short walk to the local hotel and cafes. There was daily room cleaning and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The Bundanoon Country Inn Motel offered wonderful value and we will certainly be staying here again.

I recently had a stay at a Bundanoon Country Inn motel in the Southern Highlands and found it to be a pretty good choice for our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's clear that they take cleanliness seriously, and I appreciate the effort put into maintaining the rooms. Comfort was another highlight, as the beds and overall layout of the room allowed for a restful stay. Location is a big plus for this motel. It was conveniently located, so I could visit some clients in the region and a weekend wedding we attended. This proximity made my commute easy and saved me some valuable time. In terms of pricing, I was pleasantly surprised. It's no secret that the Southern Highlands can be a little expensive, so finding a place that offers good value for money while still ensuring a comfortable stay was definitely a win. This accommodation is doing everything right. Manager wasn't going to be there when we arrived so contacted me to let me know our room number. We arrived and the heater was on, which we greatly appreciated. Very few places do that now. Room was so much bigger than we expected. Had everything we needed, including a coffee machine. Room was very comfortable. Bed was extremely comfortable. Grounds are well maintained and lovely to walk around. The train line is adjacent to the property and I was surprised how many trains went past. I am a light sleeper and I was a bit concerned but I slept soundly through the night.

Was close to town.Nice location,lovely staff,older style motel but has all you need and has been revamped,Very clean and comfy .Great water pressure and hot water in the shower.Had all we needed.The electric blanket was a great bonus being winter as it does get very chilly at night.Lots of nice little places and Churches and coffee shops to explore near by.Also right near the national park.

The bed could benefit with a mattress topper as it was a little hard.And the freight trains at night..But it’s bearable for a short stay.

This is an older motel that is kept in excellent condition. Everything works well, lots of space in the room. It is central for the town. Very clean . There is a pool and tennis court .They also have guest bikes as the area is excellent for cycling. Good value all round. We ate at Jacks Thai which was only average for its food but good service.

Nothing. There is a background noise from the train line which is nearby. But this did not bother us.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and had all the necessary facilities, and the grounds were well-maintained. I also liked its location, which is a short walk to Bundanoon's quaint village.

As previously mentioned by other reviewers, the motel is close to the train line, which might be a problem if you are a light sleeper. I'm very sensitive to noise but fortunately, stopped noticing it after the first night.

A good location; walking distance from the eateries in the town and very quiet. There was a friendly advanced call from the proprietor to ensure that our arrival would be trouble free. The room was spacious and well equipped.

The heater was rather weak and blew directly onto the bed.

An excellent motel! The room is so spacious as well as the bathroom. The shower is one of the best experienced. The room was spotless and the bed was also most comfortable. Andrew, the manager, phoned us on our travels to inform us he wouldn’t be present when we arrived and made arrangements for the key. Bundanoon is a beautiful place and the motel is only a short 5 min walk to the shops. The motel had everything to ensure a relaxed stay and a most convenient place to break our journey south.

When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the front desk gentleman (who happened to be the manager). Our room was already ready, even though we were about 45 minutes early for check-in. The room size was great, the temperature and overall ambiance was excellent, and we received many recommendations considering we mentioned we were going to Kangaroo Valley the following day. Overall, just an awesome experience!
