Darling Harbour Boutique Hotel

Location is perfect! So close to darling harbour and L1 lane. The room and bedding was clean and had an AC and mini fridge. Its self check-in and out so it was super easy and also the room had a bathroom and a shower inside which was perfect. Communication from the staff was clear and quick

Room was bit cramped for 4 people and there isn’t much of a view of outside.

I stayed in a small room with 2 bunk beds, to 4 people. The room inside the room was ok the size but at the beginning the shower don’t work good because was locked maybe for to much hair and wasn’t good take shower, I talked with administrator and they fixed the next day, maybe the cleaners can put more eyes in that. The room for 4 people maybe is to stretch because wasn’t like a square

Frequent cleaning by housekeeping staff. Very clean rooms, clean sheets, carpets, etc. Good location, convenience store, laundromat, and restaurants within 5 minutes. Walkable (~20 min) to tourist spots like Sydney Harbour. Beds are very comfy and quiet, so if you toss and turn in your sleep, there's no creaking bedframe. Rooftop patio is small and often occupied but a lovely spot if you can find a place to sit. Fast and reliable wifi. Keyless entry is available with your phone, or you can use a keycode. Our room had its own washroom (toilet and shower) so you don't have to carry your toiletries down the hall to the main washroom.

There are no staff onsite, so you will need a phone to keep in contact with them, but they reply quickly. The in-room lockers are fairly small (won't fit a carry-on suitcase). One of my roommates was a long-stay who had been there multiple months. She had settled into the room and had her personal effects all over, on the ground and in other people's lockers. The staff constantly text you to ask if you want your stay extended, even after I said I'm just here for a weekend, they will message you multiple times a day. Because there's no onsite staff, people can get loud past midnight, even on weekdays.

Super easy check-in process, amazing friendly staff. They answer so quickly in the Goki App. I saw them cleaning the kitchen every time I went there! The room was cleaned every 1-2 days. The kitchen contains any essential tools you need for cooking. The bathroom was clean. The bed was so comfortable. They change the bed sheets per guest. I saw them vacuuming and cleaning the common places multiple times. Everything was fantastic there. I loved the place and definitely recommend it to others too. I did not see a single bad thing about this place. You won't find a better location than this one. Trust me, it's the best.

I recently stayed at a hostel near Darling Harbour, and I must say, the location was perfect. Being so close to Darling Harbour made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The room provided was spacious and comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. Considering the prime location, spacious rooms, and friendly staff, I found the hostel to be excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

The beds were really comfortable (no creaking and nice pillows). Our room was pretty spacious with room to store big suitcases under the bed. The view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful.

The shared showers were small with no room to put your stuff. One of the showers couldn’t even be used because it had a big window towards the street and everyone could look inside. Also the Hortplatzes in the kitchen were pretty bad and some didn’t work. The fridge in the room smelled really bad!

It is very calm, very clean. I really liked my staying at Venus Hostel.

I have some difficult for communicating with the hostel. And I would suggest to put a lock in the bathrooms because is uncomfortable people are all the time opening the door of the toilets while someone is inside. Also is missing a common area, but you survive. But apart from that, it was not bad the hostel.

Lovedddd this property! So much that I cancelled wake up Sydney and have extended my stay! The beds are way nicer than any other hostel I’ve stayed, it’s got a really nice rooftop, kitchens new (can get busy) and laundry was free

Losing a start because there’s no bowls :/ and there needs to be more pug sockets or extension leads added! It’s annoying only having two in a room!

Location, bedrooms were spacious and lots of windows in room. Easy check in- using the app there is no face to face contact. Beds were comfortable and nice duvets

Kitchen was ridiculously small there is no where to sit and eat or even cook. No AC in the room Shower had no privacy

Location is ok just around the corner from pyrmont light rail. Can't fault it too much. It was a bed and place to stay. I never saw the other girls in the room but i only spent a few hrs there

The touch screen keys cards are a bit of a pain and i had to haul my suitcase up the stairs are my only complaints
