YEHS Hotel Sydney QVB

The location was perfect, right opp QVB and close to townhall station (train, light rail and buses). Woolworths is also just diagonally across the road.

The beds are a little too soft for us. Go for the standard queen instead of the standard twin room as the room is much bigger and the toilet faces away from the beds. As the toilet lights are linked to the ventilator, the room can be quite bright (translucent door faces the beds directly) if you wish to leave the ventilator on at night.

Like having my own apartment in the centre of CBD. Lovely staff. Aircon and TV in each room. Good beds. Good desk to work. Coffee area, big wardrobe, mini fridge. Super convenient and completely exceeded my expectations.

Comfy bed, very central and easy access to public transport, supermarket and restaurants.

Stressed trying to find the entrance. The small sign is above the entrance even if it looks like no-one is home.

The location was perfect for us, walking distance from the Circular Quay and the Opera House, 2 minutes from the train station "Town Hall" where you can catch trains to the airport and the Bondi Beach :). The reception staff were polite and helpful. The room was quiet eventhough it was overlooking a busy street. We also appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in the lobby lounge. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. If we ever come to Sydney, will stay again.

Nothing to say here. Maybe one thing, which is not really a complaint, but rather an observation. The "compact" room is really compact :) When we opened our big suitcase we could not move in there. However, the room size was clearly stated in the room description, so we knew it would be small. So if you need more space, do not book something bigger :)

A budget-friendly hotel perfect for travelers all over the world. The staffs are really nice and welcoming esp Jandro,Felix and Christin. There are special amenities available if you ask the front desk. Lounge is available with several coffee options and snacks from the hotel. The room itself is clean and spacious for my stay. Sadly, there is no heater available in the room. The best part of the hotel is the location which is strategic as it is in the heart of Sydney CBD. Near the hotel, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Local supermarkets, such as, Coles and Woolies, can be reached by a 5 minute walk. Definitely a pleasant stay and would recommend for travelers to try staying in the hotel. It is a safe and sound hotel so don’t worry about safety and noise.

Great location; near to the train station (so easy to get to/from the airport), near to buses and light rail (tram) services, short walking distance to Darling Harbour, and walkable to Circular Quays, and being opposite the QVB and close to Town Hall made it simple to find on a map and navigate to - all important factors when staying in Sydney on my own and for the first time. There were also lots of places nearby for eating &/or buying snacks etc, so really convenient - and having a kettle and fridge in the room was brilliant.

It was really helpful that I could leave my suitcase there on both arrival and departure days, and there were security labels attached, but it would’ve made me feel more comfortable if the left luggage was locked away in a room.

Location is fantastically convenient - Town Hall trains, shopping, QVB, buses. Check in good - efficient. An up-grade on separate booking for first night good. Other 7 nights in a room round the back was quiet and had light through the window. Will return I think

Netflix - had to pay for own subscription, and then had to watch on my small tablet for a week because hotel’s TV connection was broken for a long time I think. Air conditioning had no heating setting so was cold in room for 3 days before I was provided with a floor heater - noisy but fine. No later laundry facilities - take lots of pants. Location - taxis and Ubers cannot stop anywhere near the address - 3 cancellations for 4am trip to airport. Get there and away by train or bus if possible.

Great location central to everything, balcony made the small room much more enjoyable and although you couldn't really say it had a view (it was looking out on other buildings) you at least did not feel hemmed in. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cleaning was just acceptable but a bit slipshod - it was clear the floor in bathroom was not mopped every day - probably swept. Beds weren't really remade - just the covers pulled up and the undersheet was left crumpled.

The room was a value for money option with exceptional facilities in a very good location with Queen Victoria Building just outside your doorstep and within walking distance of everything (darling harbour, railway station, metro station, shopping area, Chinatown, hyde park). You could also leave your luggage there before check-in and after checkout which was really helpful. Lounge room was a bonus with free water, coffee and tea 7:00-22:00. Finally the staff were all very friendly and always cheerful. In our Check-out, a very friendly staff member Christin helped us with the luggage and to find a taxi to catch our flight.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yehs Hotel, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff at the reception. They were professional, efficient, and made the check-in process a breeze. Special shoutout to alisha and Christin , who were exceptionally helpful and made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's attention to detail in ensuring guest comfort truly impressed me.
