Nesuto Chippendale

This hotel is great for the price with the rooms having a kitchen and a balcony, and comy sofa beds if you need the extra room. I love the rooftop pool and the location is great. Its my go to hotel now for weekends in Sydney. Everything else is ridiculously expensive.

Door handles need some handyman attention.... And I would absolutely love it if they didnt lock the stairwells so you could go both up and down the stairs. The lifts do not make me comfortable and it seems silly to have to use the lifts to go up or down a few levels (even pool is only on level 4).

The best priced accomodation we have stayed at in a long time. Very welcoming reception staff who gave personal tour of accomodation and even let us choose which room we would like to stay in. Our one bedroom apartment had space enough for four guests, with well equipped kitchenette (with decent sized fridge), as well as washing machine and dryer and laundry tub available in our room. This accomodation felt like a home away from home and we were shown real courtesy by all the friendly staff where they accomodated our every need. We were also able to have a late check out due to our scheduled late flight. We will definitely be back.

Great location, useful facilities including kitchen and laundry in-room. Free parking. I have stayed here several times before, and the price is quite reasonable for the location near Broadway and Central Station.

I booked a one bedroom apartment with "city views". What I got was a one bedroom apartment at street level with a view of a large gymn window directly across. Could not open the curtains most of the time. Not a big issue for a short stay but would have been claustrophobic if longer than a few days. There are a few minor signs of wear and tear but pretty typical for any holiday apartment.

Needing an apartment not far from our place while bathroom renovations were undertaken, Nesuto fulfilled this purpose perfectly. Well located, if a little noisy being so close to Cleveland Street. It had everything we needed in a compact apartment. Great location, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff -- always willing to help!! Flexible car parking conditions. Comfortable bed. Good wi-fi. Good security system with key card operation. We enjoyed our stay at Nesuto and would happily recommend it!!

Weekly cleaning but items often missed (eg. soap, face cloths, etc), although easily rectified on a visit to the front desk. Need to keep balcony doors closed due to traffic noise, however, air conditioning worked well. Ventilation fan in the bathroom stopped operating between 11pm and 6am. There were regular cockroach sightings in the apartment.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel! Jarina and Phill accommodated our queries and prepared our room for us before check in time. This was great as we have an infant with us. The room was clean and tidy. They provided a cot for our baby with linen and blankets. It was very useful to have a dishwasher, washing machine and a dryer. The also provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion.

The side table lamps did not work, however, we were so busy that we forgot to ask them to sort it out. Our room wasn't cleaned while we're there for our stay, 2 days and a half. But also, we did not specifically ask them to clean it.

The apartment had everything I needed to be totally self-sufficient while staying in the area. Even down to the washer and drier. I cooked some of my own meals using the stove top and microwave. I enjoyed how secluded the balcony felt so I could sit out there without feeling like I could be seen from the ground.

The oven wouldn't heat up even after I reset the clock, so there was that... also, one of the castor wheels on the bed was bent so the bed didn't feel straight. There was still water in the kettle when I arrived, which I think was left from the previous guest. But these were all minor things that I was able to work around.

all the amenities were good. obviously not a new place but excellently maintained and did not look old. had everything we needed. on a pretty busy road but the sound insulation was excellent. also very close to train station for convenience and insulation meant we didn’t get the noise.

would have loved a light blanket option. we struggle with doonas - just too hot. also the tv foxtel didn’t seem to be an option. not that we needed it but it was mentioned in the information package. tv Chanel’s we’re a bit hit and miss- again not really a problem for our stay.

Apartment was responsive and accommodated my requests. Check in was smooth and the staff was friendly. We travelled as a couple plus one adult child. The toilet/bathroom is within the bedroom, and cannot be accessed from the sitting area/ kitchen. The adult child sleeps on a sofa bed in the sitting area. With the sofa bed open, there is hardly any room to talk to the balcony. Kitchen facilities are basic. We were there over the new year and the neighborhood was quiet. Apartment is about 700m from Redfern train station. In another direction, is the Spice Alley - about 800m away where we got our myriad of Asian food which are quite authentic.

the toilet is inside the bedroom and not in the common area of the apartment.

The location was close to Redfern train station, just around a 5-minute walk. The room was a good size, our room (116) had recently had new carpets and a new mattress which was great. We were fortunate to be able to check in early and were given a bottle of wine as a gift as it was Australia day.

The bathroom is a little compact but worked well, the bathroom could do with updating and a little cleaner on the floor areas. The room on a whole was fairly clean but could do with a more thorough cleaning in corners and checking the cupboards/drawers are clean from previous occupants, we found bits and bobs and dust in the tv unit drawers. The outdoor pool was not particularly heated as advertised which was a shame as it was a super outdoor area and the spa part of the pool was also quite cold and we couldn't work out if it was meant to be a bubble spa or not as there were no buttons to turn it on. On the whole, I feel Sydney hotels seem a little pricey when you are getting a fairly basic hotel out of town.

The staff were very friendly and responded to our minor issues very promptly. We loved the roof top pool and the close proximity to a shopping centre and range of good cafes. The balcony (with screen) was also welcome.

The kettle in our room had a broken spout and there was only one bedside lamp - both issues that were quickly resolved once we raised them. The position of the aircon was inefficient as it did not really keep the bedroom cool.
