Settlers Motor Inn

Settlers Motor Inn is located just off the main Road which cuts back any traffic sound. It is in a great position and close enough to walk to shops or looking around. Sharon and Barry are great hosts and were very helpful and friendly.

The parking was a little awkward especially with some larger vehicles close by. It's all ok so long as everyone does what is best and we all fitted in well.

The service was wonderful, our room was left unlocked for us to allow for a late check in which made it really easy to unload the kids at night. The room was lovely and spacious with an extra room for the kids. They even went out of their way to get some colouring books and pencils for the kids to do during our stay. Had heaps of extra blankets and towels which was helpful. Very comfortable beds.

The parking is terrible, we ended up parking on the street which was alot easier.

Very welcoming and helpful owners; exceptionally quiet, clean and comfortable; crockery, glasses and cutlery were all provided meaning we could prepare breakfast and lunch at the motel; meals can he bought at the motel, if desired; we stayed in the family room and there were kids “games and stuff” available in the room which was fantastic when the grandchildren visited.

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were extremely friendly , accommodating and helpful. The kids loved the pool :) Will definitely stay again. I highly recommend this place to stay for any future travellers.

Extremely clean and comfortable. We’ll, and thoughtfully equipped, for example on each bedside table is a four plug electric board for easy charging of phones, tablets … and hearing aids etc! The owners were also very helpful when we were having trouble finding accommodation in the next town.

Good location in the town. Good local knowledge of dining possibilities.

Aircon was weird, turning from "minimum" to "auto" several times during the night, waking us up each time. Perhaps needs some instructions for this brand of unit.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. Great central location. Everything was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. On the main street but I never heard any noise at all. Totally recommend this as a great place to stay in Tenterfield.

Swimming pool was clean. Rooms had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable rooms. Smart tv. Great wifi. Nice touch with coffee machine too. Friendly staff. Would stay again for sure.

Handy location although glad we had ear plugs as there was the expected road noise from the highway. Alex the owner was extremely helpful with suggestions for what to do and where to eat. He also happily helped us print some documents we needed in a hurry.
