The spa was great and the room was clean

Booked a deluxe room, it was definitely not deluxe. Main issue, The cleaners started washing machines at 7am, and this meant the shower water was either freezing cold or scolding hot. We booked specifically because the hotel offered breakfast yet the kitchen is not open on Sunday or Monday. There was no room service as advertised because the kitchen was closed, there is no balcony, deck or sitting space allocated to the room, there was a locked door that could have had a deck or sitting area for smokers, the cain chairs were that flimsy I was scared to sit on them.

Standard motel room & pretty good value. Easy to book. Staff polite. Comfy enough & very clean. No dramas checking in or out. Central location close to shops and eats. Cold outside but no need to use A/C as room was south facing and warm. Nice farm animals photos on wall. So much better than usual motel wall decs.

Minor issues only No USB charging ports No cutlery in case takeaway. No biggie though ... that's motel standard. Office closed earlier than advertised and restaurant was closed through google said both open so good idea to keep google updated ;-) Breakfast order form in room shows full brekkie but front desk said only uncooked menu available and had to get it in right away! So skipped brekkie and restaurant. A pity because handy when you get in at dusk. But I get it that most motels struggle to keep food service going because most guests seem to prefer eating out even if motel has food service. To be fair was a sunday night and all but a few eat places in town closed anyway.

Upon arrival it took awhile to check in as the lady was dealing with a group booking which appeared to have some issues however once I was checked and found my room it was good. The car park was bit of a shambles there were so many lines it was hard to tell where to parking bays were. I had dinner in the restaurant, the food was rather nice with the exception of cold mash potato. The rooms seemed a little dated however for a small country town it was a nice motel.

Carpark was a shambles with no actual parking bays.

Very spacious room with table, chairs, couch, kitchen sink, plates and cutlery and bread board. Ideal for making lunches before heading out to the nearby National Parks for day trips.

The bed was a little too soft - only because I have back problems and prefer a firm bed. It would've been great if the kitchen had a microwave container and a sharp knife.

Excellent facilities in the Spa room we stayed in. Exceptional standard of cleanliness, facilities and presentation. Room back from busy highway so no road noise at night.. Top quality King size bed and linen. Did not have breakfast or go to the restaurant on the one night we stayed, but restaurant seemed well patronised . We would stop here again when next in Tenterfield. Motel landscaping attractive and well maintained, usually a good sign for standards of other things.

No cover for car

The room had fast wifi for work, the spa suite had the added bonus of a washing machine and tumble dryer so we didn't even have to leave the room. Decorated in tranquil colours with exceptional comfort! A quite room with little street noise despite being in the centre of town.

Warmer blankets needed or thicker duna. Got cold but then realised heater must have been on a timer.

We did not have breakfast but the dinner was good. Staff did forget our coffee and tea but they were extremely busy. They were happy to accept the Stay NSW voucher which saved us $50 on our accommodation.

The only issue I had was the address of the motel is not correct either on booking.com or our GPS. As we believed the address we has was correct we actually ended up on deserted side street at night. Luckily I was reasonably sure we had passed it in the Main Street so we found it without any assistance. This does need to be rectified.

Perfect position with easy walk up the main street. We were able to get in to our room early which was great, tucked in the corner was nice and quiet. Restaurant or room service available though we did have a microwave in our room and cutlery etc available on request. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Nothing flash but comfortable and clean.

Cosy old style cottage with a handy onsite restaurant. Great fireplace to warm you up across the cool months. Beds comfortable with clean linen and plush bathroom towels. Great place for a family or small group!

Some furniture is starting to age but thats not a huge issue and maybe a little more dusting inside would be nice.

The house was large enough for us to stay with another family and yet still be private. The beds were comfortable and ambience was great. The water pressure was high and the water was hot.

The shower head was leaking through the connections and spraying over the screen. We didn't find the extra firewood until we were leaving.
