International Hotel Wagga Wagga

Neat. Clean. Plenty of parking. Steady shower pressure. Beds were extremely comfortable. Convenient location. Close enough to walk to the main street if you really need to (for someone fitter than me), but certainly convenient for a short drive, taxi or uber. A pub across the road provides an alternative to restaurant dining. The staff were friendly and helpful providing a knife and tray for a cheese platter we had pre packed.

The only dislike which wasn't a big issue was that we had asked for an extra towel through our booking request which wasn't provided. There was also some difficulty accessing the driveway but this was due to extra traffic as Raiders v Dolphins game was on that day.

The room was spacious, comfortable and the décor was beautiful. The bathroom was large (we upgraded to the wheelchair friendly room to get a larger bathroom). The hotel had onsite dining and a good selection in their menu. The evening meal was wonderful and we also tried the buffet breakfast which was lovely.

When we viewed the photos on line we thought all the bathrooms came with flexible shower heads (i.e. on a hose) however this turned out to be the disabled rooms only so we had to upgrade to get that feature.

The location was great the room was fantastic The free Netflix and stan was a bonus Very happy with the accommodation!!!

Unfortunately the young lady at reception on Saturday afternoon 29th April & Sunday morning 30th April was very rude and abrupt she seemed pre-occupied and not interested in giving your otherwise very fine establishment a good name!!! It's a shame because if it wasn't for this experience I would definitely frequent your hotel and tell my friends to do the same!!!

Delightful stay with a room overlooking the pub across the road. Room was clean & tidy. All the normal things provided. Bed was extra soft - possibly need a new one? Cute little corner chair which was great for typing my work notes. Staff super friendly & helpful. Check in & out super easy.

Quite dark lighting in the room, hard to do make-up. Bathroom water had very high chlorine smell & taste, bought bottled water cause it tasted terrible.

Easy to locate, staff are overall professional, restaurant food is lovely. Bed is pretty comfortable, rooms are a good size and nice and clean. Is a reasonable distance from CSU. Was nice to come back to after a full day intensive for uni

Would be nice if parking was undercover or at least sheltered and if staff mentioned before hand there is a surcharge if not using a savings account - especially when the card being used is a savings card

The whole experience was magnificent in my opinion. Yes the restaurant was closed (short notice) but due to the Easter weekend this decision was made. I totally understand this decision and the front desk staff were more than happy to advise of restaurants and pubs doing meals in the area, were hugely apologetic re this decision and went above and beyond to mark on a map locations and advise on the region.

Nothing really as the experience was of high standards

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room would have to be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was welcoming, warm (it was the coldest day ever!), super clean and had everything we required. We did not use the mini bar, but there were a great supply of things in there. The bed was super comfy, consisting of single ensemble bases with a full king size mattress (rather than some places that just push mattresses together to create a ‘king’ size bed). We also enjoyed the convenience of of the restaurant adjoining reception to be able to get a takeaway coffee on our departure (this business is run separately). Would definitely come back again to stay.

There was one lightbulb not working (but was only a reading lamp above a chair, so it did not effect us at all). The toilet seat also had come adrift on one side…but was not a big issue either.

Very well insulated rooms that are very quiet with five-star bedding - immaculately clean too. Bed & Breakfast deal made the good breakfasts excellent value. Dinner at the restaurant (taken one night only) was also very good. There's loads of free parking too (in a perfect world more would be undercover). My best experience at a Wagga hotel and one that wouldn't be easily beaten in a capital city for similar money. Easily recommended and my default hotel for a Wagga stay.

Power to the room is supplied by placing the credit card sized room key into the slot on the wall, and I only got one key (I suppose I could have asked for another) - but a regular card will fit in the power slot. As I'd like to return to a cool room (and once the room gets to temperature it won't use much power to stay there) I placed one of my own cards (a parking card) in the power slot. Housekeeping (likely inadvertently) took my card while I was out! Fingers crossed the hotel will find it and return it! Either ask for a second card or take some sacrificial cards to keep the power on to the room in your absence. It should be noted that this was a minor issue in an otherwise excellent stay.

The location of the hotel was great as it was close to the shopping centre and not far from the main street of Wagga. The room was beautiful, so stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless and smelt so fresh. It was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at.

The wifi was terrible, it dropped out continuously and most of the time didn't work, so Netflix kept dropping out.

Easy check in, bed sheets and towels were sparkling fresh, the room was very clean and up to date. In the morning I observed when the vacant rooms were cleaned and they were spotless and the cleaners aired the rooms. Reception staff were very nice and well groomed with crisp uniforms. A big thank you to the cleaning staff for always greeting with a big smile looking happy and having so much pride in their work and their grooming and uniforms. I recommend this hotel as its very clean, comfortable with free parking, has entry doors from parking and the outside clean and nice. City center is 1km with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants, safe to walk and Wagga Wagga is a wonderful place to visit.
