Townhouse Hotel

Location was perfect!! The room was very spacious, clean & very dark in the morning which is great for a sleep in. Staff at reception were very friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The bed was a bit hard but glad it was a king size with no middle divider. Wasn’t a fan of the shower in the bath but the shower head & pressure was perfect. Didn’t like that we could here everyone’s movements upstairs & in the hallway. Car parks were very tight (not good for people with 4wd’s) & had to park out on the street because of no parks available in the car park, restaurant might have something to do with this!

This boutique Gem was cosmo convenient and elegantly executed. Restaurant was a fun magnifique French twist come cocktail bar food was just gorgeous and staff faultless and service driven . The decor was playful in comfortable breathable and up to date sheik. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay it was an easy but professional service at desk and delightful foyer vibe.

Just one staff member sitting up the dining area who was unapproachable and rude. Would not serve us while seated in the bar on a blunt she was busy and service not commencing for another hour - total buzz kill but did not cancel out our over all experience a colleague watching charged it to our room and made good.

We were so pleased from arrival to departure. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows comfy, complimentary shared washing machine and dryer, access to the swimming pool and gym complex across the road, easy check out and very fair prices. The location was fabulous right across the road from the marketplace full of shops including woollies, coles, Kmart, big w and so much more.

I would recommend a room toward the main carpark to avoid some of the laneway noise at night. And maybe some instructions for the air conditioning

Great breakfast, best eggs benedict my wife had. Access to the pool across the road was also appreciated and towels to borrow, went swimming twice.

Bed lamp didn't work, was replaced but mismatched from the other side. Toilet full flush did not work, plastic part broken inside lid, had to remove the lid to use full flush. Had to park in the alley in the back overnight, spaces are tight, my car door got a dent from an inconsiderate person who did not leave a note. Structure is old but really wish there was a fan for the bathroom, note allowed to leave the bathroom door open for shower steam to flow out as it will set of fire alarm.

A boutique hotel right in the middle of town. A one stop shop, with Oakroom Restaurant and cocktail bar on premises. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. We travelled down to catch up with a Kapooka Recruit on local leave. The Townhouse is located 100m from the shopping strip, cafes and a short walk from the Train Station.

Spacious room, very comfortable king sized bed, clean, tidy, updated styling throughout the hotel. Off street parking available but suits smaller vehicles. The service and cuisine at the Oakroom was as good as it gets...and we love to fine dine. Beef cheek and Pork Belly were our weapons of choice to fill the void left by travelling and we weren't disappointed. 10/10. The range of cocktails and tap beer made us feel like we were in an inner city lounge. The deco was en pointe and we were never disappointed. We would love to return and already made plans and a future booking.

The location of the Townhouse is excellent and the room we stayed in was very nice, having been recently refurbished. It was a good size. The are laundry facilities free to use which is great if you’ve been on the road a few days.

The room was in a corridor so there was no privacy at all if you wanted the blinds open. So door on on side and window opposite but facing the corridor/walkway. It therefore was dark very claustrophobic as the curtains and blinds had to be drawn all the time and unable to get fresh air at all. We needed the air conditioner on through the night as it became quite hot and stuffy.

We had dinner in The Oakroom Restaurant, the service, food quality and presentation was fantastic.

The wines for dinner were a little pricey and on the night there was just one option for 'Tap' Beer. In regard to the quietness of the room, we could hear the occupants speaking in the next room, but we were in a 'budget' room, so we excepted some compromise, thankfully, the Neighbours were quiet at sleeptime on this occasion.

Nice place to stay close to shops

The only thing I have to complain about was paying for our breakfast we went to pay and we were expected to pay all together we wanted to pay for our own the staff member got her calculater to work out paying separate she was not impressed to do this she sighed and rolled her eyes so I think you need to look at that and my mum wanted to pay cash and the staff member had no cash only EFT 🤨

Fantastic and central location with everything within walking distance. Room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable

Bathroom was not the best as it had no separate shower from the toilet, all that divided the room was a shower curtain. No vanity in the bathroom was another issue as nowhere to put bathroom amenities. Advertisement states free parking and no booking required , however if the limited spots are all taken, you have to park out on the street , which means you have to keep moving the car to avoid a parking ticket.

the room was large and plenty of space for luggage and sitting. The front desk staff were excellent, our TV had connection issues and they came up and rectified the problem quickly. The front desk staff always greeted us with a smile and welcoming when we were coming and going.

Pillows are a hard thing to get right, the pillows were not comfortable.
