Vötter's Hotel

Fantastic hotel, loved my stay at Votters. Perfect base for a summer hiking holiday. Comfy beds, big rooms, nice balcony. Lots of choice at breakfast, and especially good coffee! We ate in the restaurant every night bar one.... they have some dishes available every night, and also a menu that changes every day - we never struggled to choose a lovely meal. But by far the best bit of the stay was the staff - every member of staff was lovely, helpful and went above and beyond - from helping dry wet hiking gear - to helping us choose routes / things to do - to filing up our very big water bottles each morning. Was hard to pack up and check out! They are also part of the Summer Card initiative, which was frankly amazing - free cable cars (almost all of them) / free bus travel / free lift and bus to kesselfall and the mountain lakes.

Nothing!

The room is perfectly big (we stayed in the Comfort room option). The hotel positioned a bit out of center but not far to walk there and to cable lift. Good place to stay with your dog. Swimming pool and Sauna area - just right to have after the hiking day. And a beer in the bar (or an ice cream for kids) to finish you day. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is good with different food varieties.

All was good. I can only propose to mark the parking outside to make sure that guests are parking in order and not occupying 2 places :-)

Everything was beyond expectations. The hotel located in an extremely nice and calm area and 10 mnts or less walking distance to the stop of bus 660 kaprun-Zell am see. They offer the summer card which entitles for a lot of free or reduced fare activities. The staff were extremely nice and willing to help. The breakfast was diverse and gave us the feeling that we were eating at home. As for cleanness I would rate it more than 10. The room was comfortable and the view was wonderful. The kids enjoyed their time in the indoors plyaing room and in the little playground outside. I strongly recommend Vötter hotel to anyone who's searching for a quality time and peace of mind.

Absolutely nothing

The staff was exceptionally friendly, be it the staff serving breakfast, at the reception or the cleaners. The spa is well equipped. We loved the relaxation area. The lobby was interesting and dedicated to the theme of old-timer. All in all, wonderful holiday and definitely recommendable.

Everything was great

The hotel has a very special atmosphere. Everybody was friendly and helpful: they organized us the ski passes which was super comfortable -we just had to pick them up there without making a queue.

Wonderful owner Mr. Helmuth Vötter and his amazing team at the hotel. they were very friendly and generous in the hotel there is a museum that have vantage cars owned by Helmuth Vötter if you have plan to kaprun this is the right place to stay in See you next year !

I found the staff very friendly, helpful and customer oriented. They added a personal touch by suggesting what to see and do in the area. Great that the hotel could offer a bike room. Very decent breakfast. Lovely to receive a welcome package including hand sanitizer.

I had dinner one evening in the hotel restaurant, but I wasn't impressed by the schnitzel, it was rather plain. Soup was good. Other restaurants in Kaprun offered a better food experience. I would like to see the spa area having slightly longer opening hours.

This hotel actually was better than we expected! very nice room and a lot of amenities at the hotel. We also got a card that gives us access to all kind of free entry / discounts in the Kaprun area, which was great! We also ate dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was good too.

Great staff, really very polite and professional. I really enjoyed the massage (by Helga). Good location, near to the city centre, nice view, clean room, very good Breakfast and dinner - very good wine recommended by professional staff - young nice lady.

Overall the place and staff are very nice, however, the vintage car collection in the basement and the wellness section are exceptionally good. These two made our stay unique.
