Orla Copacabana Hotel

The hotel is absolutely brilliant, it doesn't get any better. I spent a relatively long time there because I worked in Rio de Janeiro in the hospital and had a wonderful stay in the hotel. The staff is incredibly nice, everyone tries to help you as much as possible, no wish is left unanswered, literally everything is made possible, it is very clean, the breakfast is exceptionally delicious, the location is 1A and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking. An all around great hotel with an exceptionally nice staff. Best regards from Germany!

Nothing, the hotel is impeccable.

The Orla Hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in Brazil! The location is perfect! you cross the street and you are at the beach! There are great restaurants nearby too. The breakfast is very ample and complete with so many options, you can eat something new every day! Fresh local fruit like papaya and mango, great cakes and breads, all delicious! The staff at Orla are terrific, very friendly and accommodating in so many ways. They really care to make sure you are safe, even taking me to my Uber, making sure it was the correct car. Was in Rio for Carnaval last weekend, the greatest show on earth! How pleased I was to return to my comfy bed in the hotel, to rest in a quiet room, and rejuvenate in the pool at the wonderful Orla Hotel!!

The only thing I did not like, was saying goodbye to the hotel, and wonderful staff at Orla!! I miss them already!!!

My husband and I stayed for just one night, but we ended up leaving late the next day. We requested to use the showers, and we were pleasantly surprised to find shower cabins available for a reasonable price. They were amazing—very clean and stocked with fresh towels. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Despite the small and crowded space, the food never ran out. While the bedroom wasn't luxurious, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the gesture of being upgraded to a front view room, even though we had booked a more affordable option.

Breakfast space is very small so it is probably always crowded and noisy.

I liked the location and the check in experience. The room was also spacious enough.

The limited hours of the restaurant were a disappointment as I based my final pick on choosing this hotel due to it disclosing it had restaurant and offered breakfast which breakfast mainly consisted of mostly pastries. The rooms also aren’t equipped with microwaves or coffee tea makers our air conditioning was also malfunctioning but were asked to move to another room until our last day before we were leaving so it was a bit late.

Excellent location at the border between Copacabana and Ipanema, steps away from the beach. The place offers everything you need (including a really good breakfast) for a very reasonable price.

The two things to have in mind are: - that rooms facing the backstreet are not as calm and full of light as the ones facing the ocean - that the pool is not big at all - (but honestly why would you need a pool, when you have a warm ocean literally steps away :) )

Overall the hotel is really a good facilities, great position, good looking, staff speak english etc. But the thing that actually made us fell in love was the breakfast. We never saw in a lifetime such a rich and actually really good buffet for breakfast - this could be a reason by itself to choose this hotel! They also provide a bathroom you can use after your checkout if you would like to spend your last day on the beach as we did!

I like basically everything. If I really have to underline something less positive, the windows are not very soundproofing so you can hear some noise from outside especially if you have a room facing the street.

Location of the hotel at the end of Copacabana. Great rooftop (view) with a small pool and fitness studio. Excellent American buffet breakfast. Friendly staff, not much English however. New Year's Eve on the beach (see photo).

Noise isolation to the corridors and to the street practically non-existent. Other guests, mostly Latin, tend to be very loud and also late at night. Don't book on the 13th (top) floor as it's next to the roof terrace and bar.

The staff were amazing and friendly. They were all eager to help or provide assistance. Many of the staff speak English which helped and even when they didn't they did their best to be of assistance. I arrived before check in and they gave me a room early including a free upgrade. Once the staff learned of my gluten and dairy allergy they went to the store immediately to ensure I had enough food to eat that met my dietary needs for the daily included breakfast. They remembered this each day I was there - great attention to detail. I can't say enough about how lovely the breakfast manager was. The roof top area is nice and the view is amazing. Located in a very convenient area. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was clean.

Great location! The hotel is right in front of the beach, and just few minutes walking from Ipanema Stunning view from the terrace Super friendly staff, and excellent breakfast. Rooms are clean. Shower-room are a plus: after check-out we spent an extra day on the beach and could have a very comfortable shower before going to the airport

I travelled alone, but rooms without view are actually a bit small. The air conditioner in the inner courtyard are noisy, it might be disturbing at night The pool on the terrace is actually very small

The location is perfect, the hotel rests over Copacabana beach but is also located next to Ipanema beach (walking distance), being both the most famous in the city. The breakfas was really good, recommended. And the hotel staff was very kind and willing to help all the time.

The room was literally dark, almost no natural light. I wasn't expecting sea and beach view but some natural light would be more than welcomed. The bathroom was small, not suitable for persons with a big body.
