Hotel Five.S

We had the room with no windows, although it didn’t feel like it as you had a large window into the ‘jungle bathroom’ which allowed light in. We loved the bathroom and room. On arrival they greeted us with tea and had decorated our bed to welcome us. One morning we had an early trip and they made us breakfast early. Loved the pool and the pond, beautiful hotel with lovely, helpful staff.

The breakfast wasn’t super vegan friendly but we picked and adapted to make sure we could have something.

All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming - they were so helpful, especially when booking transfers at a really reasonable price. Breakfast was delicious (huge portions) and refillable water was great. The location was superb, in the middle of everything but still quiet at night. Rooms were very spacious and the pool area was lovely. We had a very comfortable stay and would stay again (but this time we would choose the jungle bathroom).

We booked two of the king rooms. One of them was exactly as pictured and felt very fancy. The other had a really weird layout - the bath was outside, the sinks were in the bedroom, the toilet and showers were separate cubicles in the room that got really hot. The air con did not work very well and we had to change rooms. However, the staff were very accommodating and we ended up loving the jungle bathroom in the new room!

We had a few very nice days at the Five.S. The manager was just great and helpful. He organized the transport of our lost luggage from Phnom Penh the next day. Everything in the hotel was well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was yummi, the rooms on ground floor big enough for two twin-beds and well-equipped. The bathroom was like a little garden with a big shower - great idea.

The pool next to the entrance looks greater on the pictures than it really is. There's room for only 4 sunbeds around it. The bedroom is missing a wardrobe. There are shelves in the bathroom, but your clothes stay in the humidity. if you put them there.

The well-equipped rooms and the water dispenser for drinking water in the corridor are nice. In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful in organising tours.

Unfortunately, the tap water and therefore also the pool is very musty. I don't know if this is the case in the whole city or only in the hotel. In the family room we had an open bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no rain protection for towels or if you just want to wash your hands.

The bathroom was definitely the draw of the hotel but overall the room was comfortable and the location fairly central. Breakfast was a happy surprise with 3 eggs per person along with bacon/sausage, French fries, baguette, fruit, and a hot drink. the breakfast location was also a charming oasis setting.

Despite our best effort to clarify that we were booking for 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids) for the room with 2 king beds, including writing to the hotel and getting a response that it was fine, we were hassled upon arrival that the booking was only for 3. Not sure what the issue was as my search was always for 4 people. Luckily they said it’d be okay but we’d only get 3 breakfasts without extra costs. Our kids are young and their breakfast was big so it was no problem sharing 3. Still, I didn’t like the stress and confusion. I would’ve hoped the email exchange that I initiated on the topic in advance would’ve made it simple upon arrival.

Nice place for few nights! Spacious rooms! Friendly helpful staff! Perfect location! Jungle shower is good idea! Not bad breakfast, but it's a la cart.

Disappointing details. Spiders web around room, broken photo frames.. Plants in the jungle shower need more care, a lot of died dry leaves. It's good to have an iron it he room, but it was old, in bad condition, ready to damage your clothes! :(

Friendly and welcoming staff- We were welcomed early with an iced lime drink and cold towels. The room was great, comfortable and cool. The staff reccomended tuktuk driver was brilliant for the countryside tour including pepper farms etc. The hotel laundry service was amazingly quick and worth the extra dollar to doing it yourself outside.

Everything was great. The shower was a little erratic but the bathroom was fine. The breakfast was good but not the best that we've had in the area.

The Jungle shower was delightful, such a cute feature we were thrilled with. The pool was small but we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there, great to cool off in after a trip to La Plantation. Staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were delicious.

The beds were very hard. We had to remove the bowl of lemongrass scent in the room as it was very overpowering and gave us headaches. The air conditioning was very underpowered in our room and we struggled to stay cool and comfortable at night. and avoid room G1 and every noise from the corridor can be heard in that room, other patrons, staff moving around and getting ready for the day. We were woken up very early every morning we were there from the sounds of people.

we got a free room upgrade as we were celebrating our anniversary. breakfast was very good, good choices. staff helpful with organising tours - we were there during Khmer new year staff were great with advice.

the wifi was terrible, didn’t work for our whole stay. whilst sitting by the pool we saw quiet a few rats. the bathroom seemed to have a leak when the shower was on and the both plug did not hold water in the tub

The location is good, walking distance to the restaurant area. We enjoyed the welcoming effort on our beds as well as the modern design of our room. Breakfast was good. The water facility is one small step towards reducing plastic. The swimming pool is adequate, but there is an unpleasant swift of a smell. The staff speaks good English, is helpful and friendly. We were happy with our choice and happy to recommend.
