Atmaland Resort

Atmaland resort was an excellent choice! It was a peace of paradise! The beautiful bungalows were surrounded by plants and flowers. There’s a swimming pool where you could cooldown. The accommodation was nearby the Crab market & Kep beach was at a good walking distance, excellent for people who love walking! I had breakfast included in my reservation, I’m so glad I did that. The breakfast was very tasty! Actually the food was amazing! So if you’re looking for quiet, nice food, friendly staff in a clean place, you have to try Atmaland! I’m definitely going back!

If I really have to write something down , I would say the bed was too hard… but I’m still going back!

Atmaland Resort is a delightfully peaceful place to stay. The surroundings are so secluded and quiet, yet close enough to both the crab market and seafood restaurants and the beach itself is only one mile away. Perfect. The staff were great, polite and helpful. The breakfast was brilliant - they bake their own bread, which is incredible. You can tell it's home baked because it has weight and substance to it. I would recommend staying here to anyone who asks.

The only downside was the pool. The water looked murky and I therefore did not swim in it. I did see other guests in there, but not for me. It needs a good clean and the filters to be running more frequently, in my opinion.

Beautiful peaceful surroundings and gardens. The bungalow was spacious, fairly modern, decorated nicely and comfortable. The bed was very soft and comfy, the air con was great, a good fridge, hot powerful shower and nice toiletries, water and everything we needed for a few nights. It was really clean and well kept. The pool area and bar area was really quiet and peaceful, a place to switch off for a couple of days. It's around a 10 minute walk to some restaurants and the crab market. The staff were really friendly and helped to arrange a tuktuk when we left, and prepared breakfast early for us. Breakfast was nice with eggs, fresh bread or pancakes. The food was also nice, especially spaghetti bolognese and fresh pizza. Wish we could've stayed for longer, would recommend for a peaceful stay. Excellent value for money.

There could have been some more options on the food menu, the prices were a little high for food. The pool water could've been a little cleaner. The road to the property is remote and unlit so I wouldn't feel comfortable walking back in the dark at night.

Me and my partner stayed here for a week. We had a private bungalow complete with air conditioning, a mini fridge, kettle, and great en-suite bathroom. It was very spacious and surrounded by gorgeous trees and plants that made it feel as though you were staying in a garden. The hotel is situated so that you can watch the sunset from the restaurant as well. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay and tried to accommodate all of our needs. Our room was cleaned daily and the free breakfast that came with our stay was really tasty and plentiful. It was a great place to relax for a week and as long as you have a bike (which are available to rent from reception at a very reasonable price) you will not have trouble getting around from here. We highly recommend a food shop called Deli’s right around the corner, selling fresh pastries, cheeses, breads and more!

The beds were a bit hard for my liking but I know that is a personal preference and my partner had no trouble with them. The pool was not always clean and a few times it was cloudy with a green film.

The resort is compact and everything is convenient. The pool is easy to access and is for relaxing rather than fitness swimming. The food was very nice and plentiful, especially the included breakfast. The large beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean. The staff were unfailingly helpful and polite. This is a really lovely resort and provides good value for money. It is also quiet and intimate - not too many people at one time.

I felt that the cushions in the relaxing area could have provided a little more comfort, but perhaps that is because I am old! Also, for a longer stay we would have liked something a bit more substantial to store our clothes in in the room.

This place has a stunning hilltop location with a garden and sea views. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the WiFi connection is reliable. The included breakfast is a delightful experience with a wide variety of options, including coffee, tea, fresh juices, eggs cooked to order, delicious pancakes, and a selection of fresh fruits. It's a satisfying start to the day! The restaurant is also a highlight, serving delicious food at affordable prices with generous portions. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. Highly recommended!

The water in the pool was really warm, but still fine to swim :)

The location was ideal, lovely staff and a great room. Breakfast was incredible and so much food. We didn't end up eating lunch most days! The entire property felt really peaceful and green. Easy access to the national park. Walk towards the seafood restaurant street was easy and between 5-10 minutes.

The only downside was that the pool wasn't very clean, didn't stop us swimming (every day) but could have used a scoop up of the leaves every day.

Loved the staff and the beautiful grounds - lots of plants and trees and very well taken care of property. The staff were amazing and helped us rent scooters and all round very friendly. Resort is close to a corner shop and not far from the beach and crab market too (although the scooters helped us out!). They have food onsite which we had as we arrived late in the evening and didn’t feel like venturing out. Breakfast was also lovely. Our bungalow had some chairs and a hammock on a small balcony - great for relaxing. Just lovely 😊

The gardens were beautiful. Our little bungalow was clean and cozy. Perfect for our family. The porch was nice to have. We sat outside in the evening and it was so peaceful. Staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any requests. We had a great stay. Amazing value for money.

Some broken tiles in the pool and we needed to be careful. Bathroom could do with an update. The shower pressure wasn't great. But I'm really having to work hard to find things. We really loved our stay and would go back happily. For the price we paid it was absolutely wonderful. Food could be better... Maybe more Khmer options on the menu. Some nice, fresh local food would have been appreciated.

All/everything. Atmaland: in a word:" Outstanding"! Primarily/totally,due to the efforts/work ethic /professionalism of their Manager: Senit and the owner; Chris. Nothing,no issue,which is very rare : is not dealt with immediately! Senit's fluent English: huge advantage, plus his ability to communicate patiently and have ,as his main objective: to make your stay as comfortable/enjoyable /trouble free, as is possible. The bungalows: cleaned daily, no request needed! The dining area/pool location: cleverly positioned to give a sensational view: right towards and beyond: the Sth. China Sea: spectacular sunsets! The large surrounds: maintained by Chea and staff: all as welcoming as I've come across in 5 trips to Kep: staying in 7 other Bungalow establishments ,bar the last 4 times: when I 'found' Atmaland Resort: wouldn't bother with any other! This particular trip:, since Covid: been here now 2 months : terrific 'value for money': but Atmalands overall outstanding facilities/staff and also ,location: make it a very easy decision to not even consider any other established accommodation ,bungalow/guest house! These are not 'hollow platitudes'! I've been fortunate : to have been able to travel a fair bit, throughout Sth East Asia: "Atmaland" : has been and will remain : the best ever! Senits are a real gentleman and has Atmaland's interest firmly in his sights: which 'filters' down , to all other staff involved! "Outstanding" is the the best description, I can create! Plus: good quality, to begin with, 'infrastructure': solid constructured bungalows: good quality air conditioning, excellent wifi facilities, good quality fridge, kettle, bathroom fittings, outdoor, on the balcony(brand new ,this week!), seating chairs: all add to Atmalands overall :" a real pleasure to stay at"! Highly recommend , to all!

Quite frankly/honestly: I did NOT like anything! If guests can find ,at their time of stay: "Issues they do not like": Senit, the Manager, or Chris ,the Owner: will make sure that is remedied! That : I can say from personal experience! It comes as no surprise: that often : Atmaland: is fully booked( all 9 bungalows), by big groups, all known to each other: regular 'stayers' , who have experienced in the past: Atmaland to be the best available ,in Kep! All these 'positive' recommendations/observations: have come from LONG stays ,at Atmaland Resort! If travellers ,do , for some reason : list issues: "they did not like" : I'd be extremely intigued,but also interested to read what they may be! But: I , personally: cannot come close to finding one1 (Not even 'inventing' one! )
