The Beach House

Excellent hospitality - great staff, great location, great large rooms overlooking the sea (get 3rd floor), excellent selection of meals and cocktails. While the rooms can use a deep clean and paint job - it has a really nice charm to it. Large older hotels like these cost $$$ to renovate. It has flaws. However, if you're not looking for perfection and can overlook some issues- stay here. It's super relaxing, steps from the beach and has a varied menu - you dont need to leave the hotel for meals or drinks (Saying this, a dinner at sunset at Vernada Hotel is highly recommended).

Large older hotels like these cost $$$ to renovate. Like many hotels across the world, many have struggled over the pandemic. Paint chipping, rusty guard rails, and general grunginess is also hard to keep up with given the hotel's location on the sea. Elements such as salt water and weather have erroding effects. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my time here. If you're a chill, laid back traveller who can overlook the little details, the Beach House is a great place

I hesitated for a lot time before booking this because of the comments. But I'm extremely happy I did. If you want a cozy weekend away from the city, this is the place ! I expected a classic Khmer-style guesthouse but this much more than that ! First, the view is to die for. Second, the room was so cute, very calming. This beach bungalow vibe they're going for is very nice. Third, the balcony is amazing, you can have your breakfast there, enjoy a drink watching the waves crash on the sand. Its amazing. Fourth, location cannot be beaten. You just have to cross the streets to get to the beach. AND its the cleaner, less crowded side of it. Would definitely come back, I had an amazing time !

The food is a tiny bit more expensive than it should be. You have cheaper options just a walk away. But thats all !

Very friendly staff, great restaurant, The beach House has only 14 rooms all with beautiful views of Kep Beach, and a great swimming pool and spa. On the bottom floor you have rooms 1-7.on the second floor you have rooms 8-14 All 14 rooms have beautiful views and sunset 🌇 over the Ocean, Lots of wild Monkeys at Kep Beach. Everything is perfect 👌

I love the location of the Beach House, it's right across the street from Kep Beach, so it's easy to go for a swim. The local crab market is really not too far as well and makes for a nice destination for a walk by the sea, or for a very short motorcycle outing. The location is especially fun during the weekend, as families come down from Phnom Penh to enjoy the sea breeze. Weekdays are fairly quiet and as such definitely have their charm. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway, or for several days as there are lots to do there. We stayed 8 nights.

We were pleased with everything. To be noted that due to COVID and travel restrictions, the place is not as crowded as it usually is, except maybe on some weekends.

The hotel is right in front of the beach which makes it so convenient to visit the beach and chill there. The view from the hotel balcony is also superb. We can also get the fresh sea breeze at the balcony. We’ll definitely stay there again.

The AC doesn’t seem to work. It’s quite hot although it was on. Hopefully, it’ll get fixed soon.

Swimming pool nice , hot , with transat . Very good location . Very good view . Very good staff ! Beach 50 meters ! Scooter rent 7 dollars per day .

Shower : no hot water 43 dollars one night ! 2 single bed , and little bedroom .

The view from the room was amazing overlooking kep beach The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful they gave an extra pillow when asked.

The hot water in the shower worked half the time

Need to improve hospitality/friendliness of the staff. Need to change the refrigerator as it is very old and smell not good. Need to add pillow and towels per number of guests. We were provided 2 pillows and 2 towels only but we are 3 in the room.

Morning breakfasts had a good selection, I tried 3 different ones, all good!

In general Cambodia must clean up misc garbage along highways and on waterfronts

location, food was very good, very clean too, good pool area,

didn’t like the sellers opposite the property noisey and no where to walk except in the road as they take up all of the footpath with their rugs, chairs and hammocks all the way along for about 5+ km’s
