Grand Elevation Hotel

I stayed in a superior twin room with a window - it was great, clean, nice decor, A/C and hot water worked fine. Staff were very helpful, especially one guy who offered to walk me to my tuk tuk with one of the hotel's umbrellas during some torrential rain. I read a lot of mixed reviews before booking this place, so I was a little concerned about what my stay would be like, but I was really happy with my room - it seems room choice will make or break your stay. Shell out a couple extra bucks for the window rooms, that seems to make a difference.

They should put hangers in the closet. The safe was locked and I couldn't figure out how to open it. I didn't ask about either issue because they weren't very important for me, but might be for someone else.

When I checked in the lady at the front desk upgraded me to a bigger room at no charge. I am so grateful. I am used to noise so it hasn't bothered me, but other guests complained. There is always white noise from the fridge and the air conditioner so I don't notice outside noises much. The breakfast was included and it changes a bit...I love it when it is less bad American food, and better Cambodian food. Plenty of fruit and vegetables. Before you buy a lot of water, be aware that there is a fill station so you can refill your water bottle. The hot pot is great because I drink a lot of tea. At breakfast for some reason, I had to take my own tea bags. Nice coffee machine; there was a toaster, bread and jam. I would stay here again.

I was very comfortable here. Traffic in Phnom Penh takes some getting used to. The desk person did help me cross the street, thank goodness. This is a personal problem. I am more cautious than other travelers.

We regularly stay in that hotel because of the good price good breakfast and location. It's located just a few hundred meters from Aeon Mall and Basac Lane with bars and restaurants. The staff in the hotel is always friendly and helpful. Really nice place to stay for business or work

Almost all rooms don't have a window but it is mentioned on the booking page. The aircon needs service. Overall the hotel looks a bit tired and needs some paint job and renovations but the price you paying for the room is talking all.

Room hygiene. Found about 5 dead cockroaches

First, the room is clean. They cleaned it everyday. The breakfast was amazing! Everyday new menu, won't make you bored! Location is great, by the main road, nearby Aeon mall, or any streetfood vendors. But only one convenience store nearby. Room service was great. They even help you held your luggages once you checked out.

Since my room doesn't have any window or any kind of ventilation (not sure the exhaust in the bathroom works), it gets moist and prone to smells. But that's whay you get when you ordered the non window rooms. It's common in Cambodia for a hotel room without windows.

Big room. Bathroom with great shower. Nice buffet breakfast. Good coffee! Nice staff. The hotel street is not very charming, but only 2 blocks from cafes, bakeries and western restaurants. Very near to the Aeon shopping mall too!

Room was advertised with "no view", but actually it didn't have a window at all. There is a construction site behind the building, so it can be very noisy if you plan to be there during the day.

I am a bit disappointed that it doesn't serve lunch or dinner. But good that Grab Eat/Food is fantastic - the deliveries were super fast! Perhaps I happened to order from a nearby restaurant often~

Overall I think they did their best in this difficult times and staff was accommodating and very polite. The room rate was quite low and that balanced out some inconveniences. Location is great, near to aeon mall 1 and a short walk from bassac lane. Dozens of massage spas next to the hotel.

Breakfast was compared to last year very limited in matter of options. A London or English breakfast, which was basically the same, fried noodles vegetarian, omelette and that's it. Juice made from concentrate much too sweet, coffee cold (because of the milk, was the excuse).First room had mold on the ceiling, but quickly got another room after complain to front desk.

I had a great stay here! The building might be old, but everything was clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful (exchanged dollars to riel, helped me back in my room after I locked myself out with the safety latch, booked a bus to Siem Reap).

I didn't have a problem, but there is construction going on in the back. Didn't bother me. I sleep like the dead.

The room was fine, the breakfast was okay with me as it satisfied my needs, the location near AEON mall is also a plus to me. The room, breakfast and location has satisfied my expectations.

The things I didn't like I couldn't think of anything. I just wanted to thank you for all the accommodating staff from the front desk to the staff who stays in the breakfast area.
