SIM Boutique Hotel

The room, large and clean, the position not very central but not far from the city center which could have reached easily by tuk tuk. The hotel is in in a quiet area where it is possible to witness life of Phnom Penh' habitants. I liked the pool on the top of the building and the skybar with excellent cocktails, an astonish view and competitive prices. The room price was very competitive as well.

After you have done the check-out, out the room is not a place that can be dedicated to work remotely. The receptionists were very kind and gave me a table in the lobby, but there was no electric plugs and Internet was a bit slow (I'm speaking about the lobby not about the room where internet was good! )

This is truly an amazing hotel! It was so good that I extended my stay for an additional 2 nights. I didn't want to leave because I had such a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the breakfast staff. My stay here was absolutely fantastic. The beds were perfect, not too firm. Moreover, the room was very clean. What I loved most was the rooftop bar where they served incredibly delicious food and drinks. The pool was stunning and very clean. I had such a lovely time here, and I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Located in between the S21 museum and all others touristic attractions. Everything is reachable by foot (but if you don’t feel like walking a tuck tuck to Wat Phnom is 1,5$ for example). Breakfast has a lot of option (fresh fruits, bread, scrambled eggs… and if you dare the Asian breakfast noodles and rice just like at lunchtime). People at the reception desk helped us with all we needed. At breakfast and at the rooftop waiters are also very kind and available. Thank you all!

Everything was great but as an advice is good to explicitly ask for room cleaning.

The pool and roof deck are small but nice. Rooftop restaurant is nice - not too much for vegetarians but good cocktails. The view is OK. (For an awesome view stay at Sun and Moon) The room was fine as far as size and cleanliness. Good hot water and water pressure.

I think I was allergic to something in the room - maybe the aircon. I kept waking up very congested with a sore, scratchy throat. There is no fan in the room, so I had to put the aircon on or it was sweltering. This made my stay uncomfortable. Location is OK - short ride to areas of interest. But not much going on directly around the property, especially at night.

I love how the staff are responsive to our concerns. They are swift in dealing our problem with the aircon. They let us stay to the other room while fixing the current room.

The breakfast is okay at first but it's the same everyday and eating the same breakfast for 12 days, we got used to it. I was hoping they would change it from time to time but it's all good. It didn't affect our stay and will still recommend this hotel.

The sky bar and the pool were very very nice. Also the room we booked was big, clean and cool.

The English level of the entire staff was not good for a 4 stars hotel. In addition to this, we asked twice if they can organize a pick up for us and their answer was always the same “you can check by yourself directly”. We were not asking for a free of charge service, but a 4 stars hotel should be able to organize a pick up for their guests.

Clean room and helpful staff. Using tuktuks and grab meant the whole city centre is within reach for approx £1. Breakfast was good and had a mix of western and Asian foods. Staff were helpful.

Bread was stale at breakfast, but wasn’t too bad once toasted. Very busy roads to cross to get to main central areas (but you can get a tuktuk cheaply so it doesn’t really matter). Juice at breakfast tasted extremely sweetened, would have preferred a pure fruit juice, it tasted like Sunny D.

Location is fantastic and the staff are well trained. The hotel is newly decorated to a high standard. All rooms are spacious and well equipped with robes and slippers included. The food is fresh and good value. Views from the top deck Sky Bar are unbelievable. Complementary use of the facilities after check out.

The mezzanine restaurant was closed. Food can be bought and purchased at the Sky Bar or in your room. The Sky Bar pushed the small menu and I had to ask for the full menu. Smoking restrictions are inconvenient. We were only allowed to smoke in a small area next to the pool, despite being outdoors. The steam room was broken and inoperable.

The hotel, room etc was really nice.. spacious and lovely big windows so the room was nicely lit. The bathroom was also lovely and a great size. The pool area is also lovely. We were upgraded which was a nice treat too.

There is only 1 lift in quite a large hotel so we often had to wait a while for the lift. This also delayed us massively when checking out - we had a bus to catch and we had to wait a while for the lift (14th floor) and then they tried to keep us for a long time while a maid checked our room, I assume they were also delayed by the lift. This nearly made us miss our bus.

The staff were very helpful. A receptionist helped us book activities with her phone and she spoke Cambodian to the organisers. We also got a complimentary upgrade which was very nice. The breakfast selection was very good. Room was comfortable for two.

In our original room the bathroom had a bad smell which we didn’t notice at first but then it got worse. The pool was freezing even in thirty degree heat
