HM Grand Central Hotel

The beds were big and comfortable and the room was very nice. The pool was great! And they had happy hour at the pool from 5-8! The buffet breakfast was pretty good, nice selection. The location was good, tucked away so not too noisy, but walking distance to all the attractions. Would definitely stay again. Also, my friend forgot her passport and the staff coordinated with our bus agency to get it to her before we left phnom penh!! Thank you!!

Our shower didn't drain very well and flooded our bathroom a bit. Some hashbrowns/potatoes in the breakfast buffet would be good.

The breakfast buffet was very decent with live egg cum noodle soup station. I really enjoyed the soup of the day on both days I stayed. Tuk tuk services from the hotel, from the price list at the front desk, are reasonably priced and may be even be cheaper than at other hotels. The hotel cafe is open, as is the rooftop bar. It is quite a novel occurrence post-pandemic that all the F&B outlets of a hotel are open so kudos for that.

The hotel is situated a block away from 2 big bar lounges. We could hear muted music and feel the bass even 12 floors up though they do quieten down by midnight. This is not the fault of the hotel but something to note for guests who’d like to turn in early.

Was everything ok just price of Breakfast 4.50$ Change to 9.50$in 2 months I did not like this For staying short time is no problem For long time yes IS NO FINE I thing so..of course for me( not .for money) MY POiNT OF YOU THE PRINCIPAL AT HOTEL CONSIDER THIS PROBLEM. MAYBE IS ISSUE FOR FOR ME BECAUSE I WANT STAY FOR LONG TIME (about 3.6.months )OR(YERS)

Stayed ten days. Decent location with convenience stores nearby. Some local dining choices and excellent boba tea a couple blocks over. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Daily: salad, rice porridge, fruit selection, dry cereals, breads, and yogurt. Two juice options. New cappuccino/latte machine installed during our stay. Egg/omelette cooked to order. Noodle bar cooked to order. Rotating hot meal stations with almost no repetition during our whole stay. It’s a great way to try Khmer dishes. Room is clean. Two bottles of water given daily. Pool and fitness areas are clean and nice. The staff at the front desk and cafe were awesome. Very welcoming.

Wi-Fi was not good in our 7th floor room. Very unstable making it difficult to stay connected for remote working. And while the location is okay it’s not really close to any tourist destinations. Tuk tuk costs $1-3 for most places around town. $14 for a round trip to the Killing Fields.

I don't know why there are any negative reviews for this hotel. Everything was how it is advertised. The room was spacious and clean. There's a nice pool, jacuzzi's, a gym,.. For breakfast there are many choices. Staff is helpful and booked us a mini-van to Siem Reap (Not the best, but okay). There is free water in the lobby to fill your water bottle. The royal palace is a 10 min walk away.

The gym could have been maintained a bit better. There are halters everywhere (and some are missing). Maybe some towels and a water refill station would be nice up here. This is just a minor detail in an otherwise lovely stay!

Breakfast was nice, the only problem is that they advertise it until 10 AM, you would assume you could arrive until 10 and eat, but no, they on the second the clock is 10 they rush to take everything off the table, so if you want to eat breakfast in peace you should come no later then 9:30. Pool area though small it is nice, the pool is small but it is refreshing to dive in, it´s at the 11th floor and you can get plenty of sun if that is what you are looking for, they have a bar by the pool so you can relax in the sun drinking your G and T. Restaurant was ok, don´t order pasta because that is obviously pre cooked, the steak was good, and the prices are not that high compare to it´s a hotel restaurant. Staff was friendly, not overly but all very polite and they assisted in everything you needed, so thank you staff for nice stay.

Cleanliness, the room was very clean, but twice a dish full of left overs was outside another room for few days. I did not understand why the cleaning staff did not take it with them when they cleaned the hallways and rooms. There were not really any other negatives, it is a nice hotel, with fair prices 30USD to 45USD (2023) a night, And I have already booked another stay at the hotel this year.

I get a very nice suite been upgraded for free. A beautiful and comfortable big bed where you can sleep completely peacefully until your alarm is ringing. An awesome huge bathtub which leaves nothing to be desired. A beautiful small pool on one of the last floors. A nice breakfast and very friendly staff round off the great stay.

Even if it's not a problem to take a Tuk-Tuk (just install grab app), in my opinion is the location not really central. Coming back by Tuk-Tuk in the late evening (10.30 p.m.) seem many streets in direction from the night market already sleeping. Nothing for walking along. At least I wouldn't feel comfortable as woman.

Fantastic upper class hotel in a central part of the city. The room was very big, with so much space to put all your belongings. Great bathroom and shower. The beds were the most comfortable we had in Asia! Nice A/C in the room & all the things you need for your stay. Amazing breakfast with a huge selection to choose from, including an egg station. The staff is super friendly and helpful with any kind of problem. We loved the view from the top at the skybar. Location is very central, with many places you can walk to or take a tuktuk for under a dollar. Supermarkets just 2 min away. We truly enjoyed our time here!

Our room was big and clean, on the 10th floor, had a great-working air conditioning and a beautiful bathroom. We stayed in the HM Grand-suite due to a good off-season offer, but it would not be called a suite in a western hotel, more like a superior/deluxe room. The rooftop bar had good cocktails and a great view over the city. Nice with swimming pool (incl bar) and gym. Good location in walking distance from most of the city centre.

Pool area is not well-maintained; the chairs were stained and the espalier dead. Breakfast was good, but rather expensive ($8 each), and the selection of food would have been better for lunch. Even on the 10th floor, we were bothered by noise from the street in the weekend (not the hotel’s fault, but worth noticing). The hotel may be rather expensive during high season and thus have lower value for money.

Stayed 7 nights but would have stayed longer. Fantastic housekeeping and staff, so efficient and helpful - our room was spotless everyday. Very comfy huge bed, big bathroom and robes/slippers included. Pool was nice but didn’t use much- jacuzzi/cold pool was a treat. I would recommend, such good value for money and felt like such a luxury. Can’t wait to come back!

Occasionally the steam room or jacuzzi was out of order and the gym could have been more modern however still had all the necessary equipment.
