Neth Socheata Hotel

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room that we booked was amaizing, but unfortunately we had to change it due to the noice from the pub street (until 3 am) 😞 the second room had lower standard but was quiet and we could sleep over the night. Still, we are greatful that there was no problem to change it. Location is also very central.

Unfortunately Pub Street was a bit too close to the hotel. There was too much noice in the rooms with balcony. If it wasn' t for that, I would leave 10. Breakfast was good but monotonic (fried eggs, scrambled eggs or omelette) and coffee was extra paid. Next time I would not take it for so long (we stayed for 5 nights), but for 2-3 night would be ok.

Very nice hotel close to Market, restaurants and pubs in the neighbourhood - you can hear noise from the street at night, but it's not extremely disturbing if you close the window. I could sleep without any problem. Very nice and helpful personel! If I come back to Siem Reap one day, I'll definitely stay there again!

No lift can be a problem. One of the alleys from pub street to the Hotel is a bit unpleasant, I felt unsafe as a woman walking alone, but eventually nothing happened so maybe it's just my imagination. And you can come to the Hotel from the other side which is cool.

Great stay right in the heart of town, with the old market on your doorstep and the riverside area too, plus short walk across the river to Wat Bo area, recently voted third top neighbourhood in the world. Pub Street is only a couple of streets away as well so handy if you to visit that but then again you didn’t hear it at night so the best of both worlds! The hotel is situated along an alley in the heart of a block so you can go one way or another towards the market or riverside and I always felt safe there plus there is someone in reception day and night. A big shout out to the friendly and helpful staff - Chunny and Sotnim (excuse spellings) in particular who were super lovely to talk to. There are plentiful restaurants round about to choose from to your liking including oddly enough a Greek one (Elia) but it was yummy! Khmer Kitchen is close by too, also good food, reasonable prices and big portions. Other points to note: the bed and pillows were very comfy, there was a kettle for a cup of tea, my room was cleaned daily, and great to see how environmentally friendly they were in providing fresh drinking water replenished in glasses bottles rather than plastic!

The property is very nice, cleaned regularly. People have to remove their shoes before entering, which keeps the property clean, but also makes it feel more like home. The staff is so nice and always available for help. I am very happy to have met such nice people. Finally, the services are a plus. Laundry service, motorbike rent (brought for you to the hotel !), nice breakfast, everything was perfect.

Great value hotel in an excellent location. Friendly and efficient staff.

Nice location, conveniently located away from the busy hustle from street but nearby Pub Street. Ms. Chhunny and the whole reception staff were kind and very accommodating throughout my stay. Mr. Kong, our Tuk Tuk driver provided by the hotel for pickup at the airport upon arrival, was also helpful and accommodating during my stay. The hotel overall was nice and clean, with a vintage look which made the stay more interesting. Overall great staff and great place to stay for the price, which included pick up from the airport to the hotel. Highly recommend!

-Clean room: The hotel is well maintained and room service available every day. -Excellent service: I was sick on my travel in Siem Reap so I stayed at the hotel most of the time. The staffs and owner took care of me, brought me some food, and took me to the hospital. I never had such good experience than this! Due to its close proximity to Pub Street, sometimes at night we can hear loud music from there

Near the restaurants, souvenir shops, pharmacy, convenience stores. Easy to get tuk-tuks. Airport pick-up was provided by the hotel.

Television and telephone in the room not functioning. The hotel is located in an alley. At night, the alley can be dark and quiet hence it is not safe to walk to the hotel. The hotel closed the front door at 10pm, had to knock the door asking the staff to open it.

my room was excellant value for money, had balcony with views towards the river. everything clean and working as it should especially wi fi. every inch of the hotel is very clean. location excellent and very central for cafes and restaurants. old market which sells everything is very near. have to make special mention of chhunny the receptionist she is a star in every sense.

no complaints about socheata hotel which is professionally managed by its owner.

Great location to old market, pub street, street food and yet quiet eough for a good night rest, friendly and helpful staff, daily cleaning, good bed mattress, bed linens, towels.

1. bathroom could be improved - Shower waterflow is could be bigger (strongly recommend for staff to demo how the shower works), basin is too near the toilet door, hit my elbow. 2. wifi is spotty at times .
