Steung Siemreap Hotel

Beautiful Hotel. Great Location. Fitness center, Sauna, Pool. Excellent Breakfast, Food, Bar. Check In/Out was Easy. Staff spoke English very well. Room was Big, Clean. Good Coffee, Water provided everyday. Refrigerator did not have Ice Buildup...Refrigerator worked great. Air conditioner was amazing, and can set the temperature in my room. Balcony had a great view onto the Street. The hotel location was very calm and quiet. The staff always Professional. This is a truly outstanding hotel in Siem Reap and I will definitely stay here again!!

I've stayed here multiple times and will continue when I come to Siem Reap. The location is the best. The facilities are beautiful, the staff are kind, the breakfast is really good, etc. Everywhere in Cambodia is basically noisy all of the time due to loud music, but if you get a room that faces the pool, you cannot hear it, which is good.

There were several miscommunications around arranging tours and massages, etc. I speak enough Khmer that it wasn't a language thing. I think newer staff need to learn to say "I don't know" and ask their boss for help if they are unsure about booking something. Also, the mozzies were terrible. This can't be helped because it's the tropics, but please put plug-ins in the room, spray for mosquitos, or give guests a way to kill them. We had several dozen in our room. I bought a zapper from the market to kill them all.

with in walking distance of the centre of Siem reap town staff friendly and a good sized pool.

I thought the breakfast was limited. they had a few cereals and fruit, the usual hot dishes fried rice vegetable mix and then alternated with the eggs all preprepared. hard boiled or fried. I did have an omelette one day in 13 days. no cooking in breakfast room. they did have toast or croissants

I stayed at this hotel in 2019 with a group tour and did so again in 2023 with another tour, but this time adding an extra day to our stay. The staff is delightful and very helpful. The building is spotless - one could eat off of the floor without concern. Breakfast was very good and opens early, which is helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, and the major night activity in Siem Reap. Very nice Greek and Mexican (!) restaurants are literally just seconds away. A spectacular Buddhist temple is two minutes away. If I ever return to Siem Reap again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

The only thing I can think of is that some of the staff would benefit from additional English language training as they struggle to communicate. But this is the case throughout Cambodia, though it has improved since my first visit in 2003.

Steung Siemreap Hotel has become a favorite hotel when we go to Siem Reap. This is actually the 2nd time we've stayed at this hotel. We love it for it's excellent location, just a few steps from the restaurants and the market. Breakfast is great and service is excellent. We'll always choose to stay at Steung Siemreap whenever we visit Siem Reap again. And we highly recommend it to friends as well.

There's nothing I can say that I didn't like about the hotel.

Hotel is stunning. Staff were lovely & helpful. Was worried it would be noisy so near Pub Street but double windows and being on the far side, it was quiet. I have lived in Cambo 8 years & this is literally the only place I've stayed that I could not hear blasting music. Beautiful, deep pool. Nice breakfast. Loved hot water & bathtub. Loved having a balcony too. Location was perfect.

Some guests were very loud in the hallways, like screaming children, but thankfully not too late & only 1 day. I understand repairs have to get done at some point &it didnt ruin my overall stay, but drilling in the room above me at 8 am.... Please consider doing it a bit later, like 10 am.

The historic and beautiful old world architecture and ambience. The wood is lovely. The bathtub Great water pressure in shower Breakfast were fantastic. Staff are gracious and eager to help Wi-Fi is good Very walkable Quiet although it is post pandemic early days The pool area outside breakfast room looked lovely but I didn’t use

No boxed breakfast for 4:30 sunrise Angkor tour (I thought this was included?) Use of hot water in bath or shower needs to be planned as will run out TV reception is poor on some preferred channels and TV didn’t work properly ( a permanent message interfered with picture on screen) Staff tried to address. Not sure if inexperienced or new staff but I needed to follow up with desk staff a fair amount on restocking room, laundry services and other questions

breakfast was a good varied buffet. Cooked to order some days. The staff were exceptional at all times. From the moment i entered the hotel until i left they could not have been more helpfull always making time to chat and making me feel valued at all times. Great location 200m from river. 500m from pub street just far enough to be away from the noise I will definately return

No onsite dining option but really not a problem. There must be 200 varied restaurants within 750m. I can find no negatives and my stay was a joy

Perfect location. Right behind a Buddhist temple and is a respite from the chaos of pub street. Staff very attentive to all needs. The old hardwood floors and the colonial style architecture is appealing. The pool is fantastic for Siem Reap afternoons.

Fixtures could be updated. The age of the hotel shows. But the convenience of the market area and Pub street cannot be beaten.
