Phka Chan Hotel

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel to the full extent! The design was beautiful and the staff paid attention to all our needs and was incredibly friendly. We had to extend our stay very spontaneously for one night because of the flooding in Phnom Penh where we were supposed to go after one night in the Phka Chan Hotel. The staff was very helpful concerning the communication with our hotel in Phnom Penh and it was no problem to even stay in the same room for another night. Also, the location was perfect. We could easily go to the old town by food or enjoy nice cafés close by. The hotel also provided us with lots of recommendations regarding activities and restaurants. We were really sad to leave.

This is the best hotel in Siem Reap and one of my favourite hotels ever. It's stylish, has a beautiful pool and rooms, but most of all its staff and service our outstanding. They even brought me a cake and sang happy birthday at our room door. They organised everything we needed and always with a kind smile. They organised a tuktuk to take us for sunset and sunrise at Angkor. Heng the driver made our trip extra special and we can't thank him enough for his 5* service. Breakfast was perfect and they packed us a wonderful basket to watch the sunrise at angkor wat. I fell in love with this hotel and everyone in Siem Reap.

The price to quality ratio was 1:10. We had ground pool side room and it was spacious, super clean and decorated with great taste. The pool was great to chill after exploring Angkor. They also have a compact gym, which was comfortable enough for my yoga practice. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were tasty, however, not the best in the world. Hotel is located close to all central venues and at the same time peaceful and quite. I would stay here again. Highly recommended!

For a gay couple dubious about visiting Siem Reap, Phka Chan Hotel was a dream and totally safe! The warm atmosphere, poolside oasis, and convenient location (close to local Khem restaurants and the temples). But you know what really stood out? The staff. Seriously, everyone was so kind and attentive! They went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. They sorted out our Angkor Wat tour and gave us insider tips on the local community. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended!

Staff is super friendly, they are doing a great job and making sure you feel comfortable. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are very large and modern. Pool is great and has a lot of sun, usually from morning till evening. There is tuktuk drivers infront of hotel, but in general everything is in walking distance. From Hotel to Old Market in 10min walking. Also lot of scooter rentals on the way, which is also a nice option to have for Siem Reap and Angkor. Breakfast is great too! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Stayed 5 nights whilst exploring the temples and local attractions. The hotel is a peaceful and stylish oasis, a short walk from Siem Reap centre. Lots of conveniences close by - ATMs, supermarkets, bars, restaurants. The food was excellent - always served quickly and courteously, and fairly priced. The staff were *absolutely* lovely! They made me feel at home and spoke great English. I enjoyed chatting to them about the local area, weather, temples, food, etc :) The room was luxurious, quiet and comfortable. Awesome bathroom! The pool was tranquil and so pleasant for cooling off. My room and the garden were very relaxing after long days out.

Nothing - everything was great

The staff are the loveliest people. They were curtious, helpful and very friendly. The breakfast selection was good and the coffee was the best I have had along my travels. The mosquitoes seemed to like me and the staff always offered me their spray.

Not the hotels fault but every morning at around 6am I could hear the local bars playing "Go Britiana" as they were closing which woke me up.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great as well. The breakfast was delicious too! We would certainly stay again.

A small downside was you could easily hear guests and the doorbell in the next room. I'm not sure this is possible to fix however. Despite this, we would still stay at this hotel again as the staff were very nice and the hotel itself was lovely, in a great location and a great price.

The room is very large, comfortable and exclusive. Very nice and friendly staff, always concern about your stay, if you need anything or how was your day. You feel really welcome. The pool area is very relaxing and cozy. They offer very good tours options and guides. We truly recommend Ritchy as the guide, he speeks very well english and knows a lot about Angkor and the other temples. Very good location, close to the pub street and main stores and pharmacy. Don’t miss the change to have a wonderful Khmer Massage at Real Spa :)

The breakfast has limited options, but it is worthy for the price you are paying.

The room was big and I loved the bathroom. It's close to "pub street" about 10 min walking distance. It's easy to book tours or taxis through the hotel, there are also many places to book tours near it. There are many restaurants and bars close to it.

It has a construction on the back wich is a bit low in the mornings. Breakfast is a la carte not buffet. But is really good. Tip: asked for everything you want (food, beverage and how many of each you want) at once otherwise it would take time. The bed was a bit hard.
