Hilton Beijing Hotel

The hotel is located next to the embassy area in Beijing, which was why we chose the place. It was about 30 min drive from the airport as well as from the South Station. The check in was quick and painless. We were checked in a few hours before the official time, and we were provided with a late check out, no questions asked. Our room was clean, spacious and had a nice view. We had executive lounge access, and I would get that again as dinner is included. The lounge itself is really nice and quiet - a great place to work or relax. It had two workstations (PCs) and a printer, and there was a meeting room on the second floor, all free to use. The staff was very friendly and helpful - thank you all for a great stay. In short: if you can afford it, it's worth every penny (We got it for 1.1k a night, including breakfast).

The bathtub in the room was a little tight and the door was a bit hard to push open. I think the biggest issue was that the sound from the next room was a little too easy to hear. During check in the receptionist claimed that our booking must have been for a different Hilton in Beijing (it wasn't) because the number looked strange to her.

Staff needs training in evaluating visas for foreign guests. It took almost half an hour to check-in. The old carpet smell in our room was not pleasant. The first time I tried to check in, the reception sent me to the old tower, which had rooms with outdated designs, a dingy/musty carpet smell, and a view of the very close wall of the next building, even though the room was advertised with city view. But the receptionist changed my room upon request without any trouble.

The rooms were big and modern, actually really nice. Breakfast was also amazing. The employees were really nice trying to find us a taxi every time we needed to go out.

The staff didn't speak English, only a few of them at the front desk, but not even all of them at the reception. At breakfast it was hard trying to ask something cause they didn't speak English.

A very clean and well-kept hotel, close to Solana and shopping. Reception staff spoke good English. Room was a good size, very comfortable with good facilities. Excellent breakfast with great choice of Westen and Chinese foods to choose from.

Room was very warm, and thermostat did not work so was not able to change temperature to make it more comfortable.

Friendly staff

Do not understand "Do not disturb' with that note on my door they would call and even knock to see if I was "alright'. On a week long business trip you wish to be able to rest in your downtime! If they wanted to see if I was alive they could have checked with the breakfast room 😉

The most impressive and important part of my stay at the Beijing Hilton were the staff. Everyone was professional, but more importantly friendly. It was also great that most everyone could speak English. The head concierge, Harry, went above and beyond to help me. Damon also helped me solve an important problem, with no hesitation. The head bellman was lovely and kind, and spoke Excellent English. It’s obvious that the staff here are happy. The manager deserves recognition for creating a wonderful company culture that translates into excellent customer service. I felt very comfortable and cared for at Beijing Hilton. Thanks!

The first thing that caught my attention was the friendly staff. Literally all of them were kind! The hotel itself was very clean and I liked the fact that I had access to everything I needed right on the property.

The location is not bad, very close to China international exebition centre (about 7 minutes on taxi) but very far from shops and restrants

Breaskfast could be more varied

clean, spacious room, nice view, quiet, buffet spread, executive lounge, friendly & very helpful staffs. thank you for making surprises for my wife’s birthday stay. We had a pleasant stay, indeed.

One of my usual hubs in Beijing. Excellent location, great, helpful staff, full-size swimming pool (very rare in China), enormous gym, a Jacuzzi that brings people together.

I keep coming back, so hard to tell... Perhaps more variety in the food service menu would help.
