Cleopatra Hotel

We were given a superb room, very spacious and comfortable overlooking the pool area. We found the staff friendly, and we were given a warm welcome on arrival. The swimming pool is a delight and the food served by the pool was of a high standard. The breakfast menu was good, with a range of dishes available. The hotel is in an excellent location, and within easy walking distance of the old town area. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you wish to stay in the centre of Nicosia.

The lobby area could be a little better furnished

The air freshener used in the lobby was very overpowering it was like a very strong perfume and spread across the ground floor. Hotel is a little tired . I specifically asked for a room with a balcony but it was more like a ledge and not able to sit outside

- we loved the pool - the pool is amazing and almost empty. perfect to refresh on Nicosia’s heat - the breakfast was varied and delicious - the wifi was perfect - the room was good but for the high price a bit more would be welcome - location is ok - about 12’ from old town - the parking is a huge plus

as indicated above, a bit more is expected for high price. we had a perfect stay though and would come back

breakfast ok, for me was perfect because had several cheese options, halloumi and feta and more, maybe vegetable could be improved a little, location is good for business I arrived hotel 9.00 in the morning, I didn't expect to get the room, yet the reception desk responsible manage to offer me a room, big thank you for them!

The breakfast is nice. The situation of the hotel is comfortable. The personnel is very kind and pozitive.

The place is quite noisy because of the compressor that switches on regularly and it is difficult to slip when the window is open. The street noise is terrible.

Great location, clean, near Ledra street, mini market, near solomou Square

all breakfast with pork, except halomi cheese, hotel restaurant are poor and no food varieties, they charge for the same meal with different price each time till you complain, restaurant don't have toilet or place to wash hands, and the manager shouting to me to wear the mask after launch while i am going out from restaurant to wash my hand because no place to wash hands inside. Very expensive for the value you get. while booking they said pay on property and charged for full amount. Poor TV channels .

Good hotel in the heart of Nicosia. In stayed in executive room, and it was very clean and spacious.

The room looked a bit worn here and there. At the time of my stay, there were some renovation work going on, which was noisy at times. One day i was woken up by the noise at 9 am. This only happened once, though, and most of the time, the noise was distant.

The swimming pool is the big draw for us and the reason that this was a return visit. Apart from swimming it's nice to sit there late with a drink. There was a fridge and a safe and a bathtub - and a lovely balcony. The breakfast was good.

Drinking water was only supplied on arrival and not replenished. This is not acceptable as the tap water tasted awful, even after boiling. A large jug of filtered water - no need for wasteful, polluting bottled water - should be in each room. That would be great. Staff don't acknowledge guests who are waiting in a queue to be served at reception, leaving you feeling bit ignored if the person in front is taking absolutely ages...

Breakfast was good. The pool was wonderful! The perfect temperature to cool down after a hot day walking around. I also really appreciated the balcony — to sit outside in the evening.

The reception seemed understaffed. I had to wait 20 minutes to check in because there was someone with a problem taking all the attention of the one person working reception. Also, the hotel needs a full renovation. My bathroom was small and outdated for example. The breakfast area is drab. Someone needs to invest some money to return it to its old splendor.

The appartement was just near the cost, with an amazing view on the sea and the lovely noise of waves when you open the windows. The area is really calm and realaxing. The commons parts of the hostels are great, and the breakfast is really A-MA-ZING, i couldn't recommand it more. Lovely people and great pool. Would book again, without any doubt. A bit outside the city of Rethymno, but very accessible with a car.

We booked a small appartment with a kitchen, and we regret that there were no basics like salt or oil.
