Lovely stay in Campanile Carcassonne. Room was very clean, hotel staff were extremely helpful and the pool was lovely. Location is about a 10-15 minute mostly flat walk from the Medieval City with the old town and Canal du Midi about another 10 minute walk from there. It's a lovely lace to walk around. We got a taxi to the Lac de la Cavayère (€20). Taxi from the airport was €25.

Friendly receptionist greeted us on our late arrival. The nicely refurbished room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning. The hotel is in an area outside the city (supermarkets, warehouses etc) but the convenient parking and quiet at night outweighed any down side of the location. The small pool looked lovely although we arrived too late to use it. Appreciated being able to eat breakfast outside on the terrace with our dogs. All in all a very pleasant stay.
We arrived late because of traffic, and were unable to eat at the restaurant as planned because it shuts at 9pm! Shame as we booked this hotel because of the pool and restaurant and couldn't use either in the end.

Location easy to find & hotel vey well maintained.
But very disappointed after driving some 8 hrs and arriving 7pm ish the restaurant was closed and non close by. Couldn’t even offer us a sandwich but managed full buffet breakfast the following morning which we declined! Stayed Campanile in Perpignan beginning of Jan & had lovely evening meal.

Reception was excellent and extremely helpful. The hotel, rooms etc were all very clean. It was within walking distance of the historic town - for a good walker, but the weather was unsure and not worth getting a soaking. Breakfast was help yourself and all within Covid guidelines. Coffee was available in the lounge area and evening meal available on Saturday night. Parking was within a safe boundary.
No vegetarian meal as an option. The lift was not very clean

The property was extremely easy to find, just off the motorway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, we really enjoyed it. Didn’t use the pool but it looked great. Nice relaxing drink in the bar when we arrived. Great parking facilities.
