Hôtel Le Relais des Halles

Beautiful rooms (though I wish the connecting rooms were either actually connected inside, had a locking outside door, or at least had a door stop to keep our doors open to each other). Convenient location with tons of restaurants nearby and about a 10-15 walk to the Louvre. Breakfast was amazing (Lea was the best!!), and some of the staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The following are all MINOR issues: (1) I’d recommend guests to navigate to Etienne Marcel station rather than to the hotel address because 2 taxis got lost on the way to the hotel (though close to the main road, the hotel itself is in an area inaccessible to cars). (2) We were woken up at 5am by the fire alarm and had to rush down to the lobby in our pajamas. Was quite stressful and shocking for my elderly parents. Thankfully no fire though we smelled smoke. (3) One front desk guy didn’t speak great English and we had difficulty communicating with him so prepare Google translate just in case!

This hotel, situated in a pedestrian-only street in the Les Halles quarter, has 19 rooms, a small but pleasant breakfast room in the basement and a lobby where friendly and helpful staff are almost always present. The hotel is quiet, though the area around it, especially to the south, buzzes in the evenings with groups of friends, colleagues and tourists who enjoy each other's company drinking, eating and chatting. The atmosphere is very pleasant. There are two metro stations nearby, one on line 1.

The room was small but not too small. The breakfast was limited but satisfactory.

Our room was attractive, beautifully renovated and had many nice touches. Lovely thick towels, bathrobes and slippers. Excellent all-new shower, combination toilet and bidet. Bed and pillows were very comfortable, bedside reading lights. Location was convenient -- literally surrounded by shopping, restaurants and bars, 5-minute walk to the Étienne Marcel metro station, 6-minute walk to the Pompidou Center. Lots of nightlife. Definitely recommend.

Our room overlooked a busy pedestrian-only street which was rather noisy at night, but that's Paris nightlife. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke; the host was surprised when I mentioned it to him.

The hotel is very cosy! This is one of these places where you can still find some of the old days ingredients: coffee for free, chocolates, water bottles or fruit for free as well and the staff always attentive and making you feel a valuable client. The location is great, very close to Les Halles and several metro stations as well as a number of museums. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, from all ranges and serving all types of food. Really recommended!

Not under control of the hotel, but the 7am trucks collecting garbage/washing the streets are a bit noisy even with the window triple layer.

The hotel is in a great location with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and the Chatelet des Halles station (direct RER B rail long to Charles de Gaulle airport) all on your doorstep. The hotel itself is spotless, maintained to a very high standard and has everything you could ever want or need. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Oh, and the beds are so comfortable; I had the best sleep in a long time.

Location was very convient to/from Airport as well as to the Maison Fair. Train/Metro station is right below the hotel. Given the overall size of the hotel, our room was spacious with all amenities inside and was kept clean during the day. A perfect hotel for a paris weekend

I didn't manage to connect to the hotel wi-fi I don't know why the make it complicated with logins in 2021 I used my cellular data instead, so I cannot judge wifi connection. - I also didn't ask for assistance about it.

Desk service and cleaning were excellent. The location is good with immediate access to Pompidou, and lots of restaurants around. The hotel has air conditioning.

I don't think the water filtering idea is sanitary. We used it, but the more we thought about it, the more we agreed that it could be a source of spreading viruses/bacteria with people using the same bottle. Also, maybe to have coffee pods in the room. The staff was very nice and offered when we asked, but the first morning we looked for the coffee pods ...

Stayed for 5 nights as a couple. - Well located, at walking distance to all touristic sites and near different public transportation options. Lots of good restaurants & bars nearby. - Comfortable room and bed. Great shower. Well-designed and illuminated. - Room cleaned and towels changed everyday. - Very kind and smiling personnel. - Good wi-fi connection. + The hotel provides small bottled water as courtesy before going out for touristing. They also have umbrellas to take away (and return).

- Although the breakfast was very decent for the French standards, it would be nicer to have more options daily. It got boring for a 5 days stay. - The carpet in the room seemed old.

Location was fantastic: lots of bars & restaurants in the area, as well as numerous shopping places. 45 min walk to Champs Elysees, 15-20 min walk to Louvre, max 10 min walk to Notre Dame. Great staff, very helpful throughout the stay. A lot of amenities included in the room.

Probably only one thing: while we could hear no noise from the other rooms (so within the building), the morning garbage collection in the morning was quite noisy. So make sure you use the ear plugs the hotel offers in every room (among the amenities they offer for a pleasant stay).

the location is excellent as it is close to restaurants, metro and train station. you can easily walk to the Louvre, Rue de Rivoli , Rue Saint Honore . the only thing is that the hotel is located in a pedestrian area and many taxis do not get beside the hotel. you have to walk a few meters to reach the hotel from the street with your bags.

the rooms are small, but in Europe this is expected.
