Hôtel Paris Vaugirard

The hotel just 2 mins from metro with surrounding by restaurant, cafe and grocery. Good for every kind of trip, staff so friendly and helpful

The elevation can fit only 2 person, a bit issue with the floor

Very close to where I wanted to be and less than a minute walk to metro station. Breakfast was adequate and there is a nice patio garden at ground floor. Room was very clean and normal size with a comfortable bed/mattress. Very friendly staff who were happy to help.

Would be nice to have air-conditioning as it was really hot in Paris - but at least there was a fan. The elevator was very small but new - not sure it can fit 2 people. Very expensive during my stay - probably because of big event nearby.

The breakfast was satisfactory. I guess I am a bit fussy about eggs. The boiled were hard and the scrambled were wet. It was close to the metro which allowed easy transfer to many parts of Paris. It was close to a grocery store as well as eating places and we easily found a laundry mat close by.

I think the staff could have been better informed about what was available for the customers. A young girl behind the desk did not know of any grocery stores nearby, which was virtually next door to the hotel. Also the website must state more clearly what services are available. I found out that we had a room, and breakfast and for the rest we had to pay. Apparently that is Paris. Other hotels where my other family stayed had a comfortable sitting area where we could enjoy a glass of wine. It seemed the hotel was dated and there were attempts to have it look good, but the painting of our bathroom door indicates a quick makeover.

The room is modern and clean, nice bathroom and closet area, very suited for a work trip, but also very nice for a holiday stop. It is located near restaurants and supermarket, and it is 1 minute from the metro station and 3 minutes from the tramway station. Breakfast was surprisingly diverse for the night rate. Qualitative hotel, I would recommend the place and go back if I need to be located south of Paris.

No AC, but even in July on hot days, the room didn't get too hot, and there is a big door on a balcony so fresh air can enter at night. You also can hear the metro, but not bad, and that's kind of everywhere in Paris.

The hotel is located right next to the no 12 metro line that takes you directly to the city center and also next to the tram line and bus (easy access to Gare du nord). The room was very clean and quite large by French standards. It also had everything we needed. The staff is helpful and available. The breakfast was the same for all 5 days but included cereal, meat, egg, cheese and baked goods so you could choose something different each day. Not sure if there were enough (any?) vegetarian options.

Since you are close to the metro, you will feel the trains arrive/leave. It wasn't enough to bother us, but maybe if you're a light sleeper that counts.

- The room didn't have aircondition, and even with open windows it was rather hot in the evening. - The hotel has 7 floors and only one small elevator (for 1 person max), going up until 6th floor. On the other hand, it's good exercise. - Wifi access weren't provided by the front desk on checkin and I couldn't find any wifi instructions in the room. (Probably I could request wifi access from the front desk afterwards, but I couldn't be bothered to go 7 floors down just for that and instead relied on 4G)

Not exactly in the city centre, but there are electric scooters around which are every fun to get from place to place. The croissants and baguettes were nice for breakfast, but there was only scrambled egg which was quite disappointing. I thought there was going to be more of a selection, this could definitely be improved. Overall the rooms are nice and they come with a big bed which provided a great sleep.

Towels weren’t changed each day, I had a dirty towel for the whole of my stay, they changed the bathroom ones but not the body towels. Breakfast needs to be improved. There’s also no milk sachets in your bedroom to make a coffee or tea with.

Lovely sized hotel room very well decorated, extremely comfortable king size bed and linen. The room with view on a patio at the back was very quiet, bright and spacious, with a modern bathroom. It is 50 meters away from a tube station and a 100 m from the entrance of the Paris Palais des Congrès, perfect location. I stayed there for 2 nights and felt energised by the overall experience. Last but not least, the staff at the front desk were lovely, helpful, genuinely welcoming and very professional. This is a new breed of hotels with true customer service and human touch. Thank you so much.

Despite the absence of air conditioning the room was truly fresh and ultra clean.

The check-in was fast and they let me in the room despite arriving 1 hour early. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally silent and protected from the sunlight (this is something a value highly, since I like to sleep in a dark and quiet room). The bath is large and the cloth closet too (surprisingly for Paris hotels that usually had a closet that barely fits 2-3 items). The heat was great and, since they use internal heating and no air-conditioning, the room was always warm and without noise. The breakfast was nice (not great) and had a decent variety of items to choose. There is a large supermarket just under the hotel, many places to eat near by, and the metro station just around the corner (20m away), which makes it ideal.

The location is not the best for sightseeing, but it was perfect for my work. The room (243) has a broken tile (or something) on the floor next to the bed (on the side of the door, under the carpet) which seems like an accident waiting to happen. It is deep enough to hurt your leg, I forgot to mention it to them, I hope they fixed it. Apart from that nothing bad. The bath has no courtine, so after showing it becomes a mess. The breakfast could have more options.

what I likes the most about the property is its perfect location. it is 1mins away from the metro station (Line 12) which can take you to almost all touristic places in Paris. in addition the Bus station is just at the door of the hotel which is also very helpful in case you don’t want to take the metro. There’s a supermarket as well downstairs (Franprix), a pharmacy and many cafés and restaurants.

What I would’ve preferred was if there was a small couch to sit on it in the room.
