ibis budget Porte D'Orleans

The location was absolutely perfect. A really safe neighbourhood which was very close to 2 metro stations, buses going to central Paris and a tram system too. And a shopping centre, fast food, restaurants and a Lidl within a 5-10 minute walk. Our room was phenomenal, we had a view of the Eiffel Tower and it was our first time there so it added to the experience. Everything was clean and tidy, the shower was so lovely and warm and we had no issues with the cleaners. The staff at the front desk were nice too and spoke English which was really good for us and the vending machines were reasonably priced and very cold which was great. The windows were soundproof and the rooms were warm, we stayed in November. It is absolutely worth the price, if not more, and we will be staying here again when we next return to Paris.

We wished there was a safe as we had our home keys and other bits that we didn’t want to carry around. The wardrobes were extremely small but we didn’t have anything that would crease easily so this wasn’t really an issue.

Considering how close to the centre of Paris this hotel is it is very cheap. The rooms are small and basic but clean with comfortable beds. As we drove to Paris it was good that we could park under the hotel for a fee which is paid to the hotel next door. The fee they charged for using their hotel was pretty extortionate. The person on reception was friendly and helpful. We walked to the Eifel Tower which took an hour and got the metro back and the station is very close.

Our adult children were 7 floors below but this was likely because it was August and the hotel was very busy. Privacy for using the shower is a bit of an issue as it is accessed directly off bedroom with a curtain that cuts off the sleeping area going across the bedroom cutting off the shower and toilet and exit/entry door from use when someone is in the shower so if you need privacy it is a bit of an issue.

Value for money. Location is good. Clean hotel. Nice staff

The rooms are dusty and a bit small

A standard Ibis budget hotel. Nothing to complain about. The breakfast was fair enough. Did not expect an Eiffel tower view (quite far though) at this price! ;)

The location of the coat hanger was just beside the 3rd bed ladder. Very difficult to get up to the bunk bed because of the hanger positioning.

Location very close to the metro and Velib stations, some cafes and restaurants around, the bed was super comfortable, the room was cleaned daily and we got new towels every day (although only 1 per person), the staff was very nice

the lack of a hairdryer was a problem, there is a possibility to rent it at the reception but there are only a few for all the guests and there were times those were all taken; almost no storage space for clothes and personal belongings; super loud air conditioning

Location was close to the metro, the road was incredibly busy but the rooms were well soundproofed. Breakfast was very good, you could make omelettes and the children enjoyed all the Nutella and pastries. Staff were friendly and helpful. Perfect for an overnight stay!

The room codes were complicated this time, they broke down so we had to ask for one to get into the rooms in the morning. The shower is right in your room so this has a lack of privacy for drying off if you are sharing. I didn't mind it for a night. There are no knives at breakfast for some reason, we used the end of forks and spoons for butter.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The machine in the entrance of lobby that you can order food for delivery at your room its excellent idea and the foods are perfect! And the room at the 7th floor had an amazing view of the eifell tower.

The fact that there is no window its a bit scary . Also there is no dust bin in the room .. And the worse thing is that there is no toilet brush in the wc! its very unhealthy and anti hygiene because the inside of the toilet stays dirty !!!

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly, which always makes a difference. The lady at reception was extremely accommodating, even changing my room for a better view. The hotel was also clean, rooms serviced every day, a hearty breakfast. It is located a bit further out but its a skip and a jump to the metro line 4 which takes you direct to St michel, Luxembourg, les halles . Locally , lots of places to eat and drink and far from the crowds. Highly recommended

Having to leave

The room was very clean and functional despite it being quite small. There were hangers and a desk. Maybe we were very lucky cause we stayed at the 7th floor but being so high up granted us an amazing view of the Tour Eiffel in the distance, that was very nice! There are vending machines in the hall and the staff is very friendly. They accommodated our every request and helped us when for some system error the password to our doorlock did not work. Location is perfect, the hotel is in Porte d'Orleans which is easily reachable from the Orly Airport, and also has different types of public transportation making a stop there (Metro, tram T3a, lots of buses). The area is well served with anything you might need. Wifi worked fine as well.

Very clean, comfortable bed. Good availability of markets and restaurants around the area. Close to the subway.

For the price, nothing to complain.
