Villa Monticello Boutique Hotel

We loved the location, in a safe area and with a few good quality shops for essentials in the neighborhood. Our room was spacious with good airconditioning and a roomy bathroom. The service was good too.

The breakfast was average and frankly below standard for a first class venue like Monticello. Average supermarket bread. No fresh juices. The breakfast in the bakery around the corner was much better. The restaurant may serve an excellent dinner by local standards, those who expect European style fine dining may be disappointed. The layout of the restaurant is not ideal, the space is way to large for the limited number of tables.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean

They charged me twice for a room, and the price wasn't worth it. They pertained to refunding my money to my account, but my bank said they didn't see the transaction. I've been home for over a week and they went into my account again and the bank is charging them with fraud. These people are thieves and liars. I suggest going to a hotel chain you can trust.

Beautifully decorated and the rooms were very luxurious. The staff were very accommodating and they made special arrangements for our room. Our first meal in Ghana was at Villa Monticello and it was superb. The breakfast here was also delicious too and I had it every morning I could. I would definitely stay here again and would like to say a big thank you to all do the staff members that accommodated me and my wife here in January.

The gym needs air conditioning.

The staff...the staff ...the staff... I cant over emphasise how much the staff made our stay very memorable. They were helpful, they assisted with every single request with a smile. they were polite, they went out of their way to make us comfortable in a new city. They used their initiative to solve problems... Fantastic.... The staff (each and everyone of them) is the reason to stay at this small wonderful place in Accra.

There was a party so initally a bit noisy but our room was changed.

I loved the cleanliness of the room and the warmness of the communal areas. They also made an effort to have honeymoon features which was lovey to see the effort made

The bath tub plug did not work which was a real shame as the bathtub feature was the reason why we booked the hotel. The hotel did organise another room for us to use but it became an inconvenience to bath in a different place so we decided against it.

Close to the airport. Great service.

No elevator in the building (which didn't align with 5-star rating) and the interior design. Didn't have a lot of amenities for the price or star rating

Loved the boutique concept, different from your typical hotels.

Every room was differently designed. The hotel was very intimate and personal

We had to change rooms a couple of times because of plumbing issues

Nice Location and Menu options. I also loved the closeness to the airport. Staff were very cool and ensured I had a wonderful stay.
