Limneon Resort & Spa

The view from the room window was stunning! We were upgraded to Junior suit at no cost. The hotel also has outdoor pool that is open during summer months. The location is good if you come by car - the city is up to 10 minutes drive away.

There are multiple buildings where rooms are located so you might need to get out of your building to go to the restaurant (which is not that big of a deal, unless it is raining) or to go to spa (which is inconvenient). The spa was available at extra charge, which was underwhelming, considering the price per night we paid, and that the fact that it was off-season. There was another hotel that was right across the street, on the lake bank, that was demolished. It would be good if if the debris was not left just left there.

The resort is beautiful! The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The spa was worth a nice massage.

The restaurant hours are a little inconvenient, especially if you are not a breakfast eater, it doesn’t open until 2. But go into town, there are fabulous restaurants to eat there!!

The hotel and staff were very welcoming . The food was very tasty and the portions were very generous. The room was clean and tidy and of good proportions, but the view was fantastic! if I could wake up to that every day I would be a very happy man.

There is really nothing not to like about this hotel. The only thing to consider is its location. It is only 4 minutes from town but you cannot walk there directly from the hotel. It’s not a problem only a consideration to be made aware of. There is a local taxi service if you don’t want to drive.

The hotel can be reached easily as it is located along the main road. Our room had a view of the lake and was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and with a big variety of local delicacies in addition to the more classical breakfast items.

You will need to take the car to get into the city centre as it is too far to walk from the hotel. The road is quite busy which can be noisy when you are sitting on the terrace.

The room was spacious and clean and we had fantastic views of Lake Oriesteda from our balcony. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were very friendly. My son's wedding was in the downstairs suite and the staff waited on us, tirelessly. The swimming pool and pool bar were also very good and reasonably priced. We had a meal in the restaurant on one of the nights and both the food and the wine were excellent. One of the best hotels we have stayed in!

We stayed 6 days in two person rooms on the third floor of the golden wing. Lake view. We initially booked 3 nights half a year in advance. During our stay in Greece we decided to extent this up to six nights. This was a good choice. The additional three nights could only booked for two standard rooms with garden view in de crystal wing of the hotel. The owner upgraded us without any additional costs to the Deluxe rooms. This meant we could stay in the same room for six days. I advanced we were a bit worried that the outside pool would be closed. We read something on the internet. The indoor pool of the spa was closed. We did not miss it. It seems it was used for storage of gym equipment. The beds are good. Because there is only a sheet it might get a bit cold when you keep on the air-conditioning but that’s something you can manage yourself The shower is perfect. You can shower normally without the floor getting wet or doing all kinds of difficult stuff. The pool is fantastic. It’s big clean and well maintained. Towels are provided and the personnel is very alert to be of assistance. The food is of good quality. I have visited many hotels. I must compliment the quality of this gym. The gym is big, well air-conditioned. The equipment of this gym is of high quality material (Technogym) clean and looks brand new. The cleaning is thoroughly everywhere. Balconies, corridors, stairways and of course the rooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is very good. A broad choice and there is a lot of personnel to replenish any food or drinks.

The restaurant is beautiful. The menu card is a little bit limited. When you also have lunch, there is not much left to choose in the evening. There was a card with drinks but the dishes found in that menu card were not served.

My room was very comfortable and clean with a superb view of the lake! The hotel staff was very polite, friendly and helpful

There are a lot of stay looking cats roaming around the hotel premises, climbing on the restaurant tables and begging for food. As much as I love animals this was not a nice thing to watch

Clean, quite & stylish rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Superb service. Beautiful lake views (although slightly restricted by a low height building in front).

-The gym, spa and both pools were not open to public. To the best of my knowledge, this was not indicated at the time of booking. -No laundry service available: while this is not generally needed, it is a bit inconvenient to have to go to town for this. A couple of laundry coin machines would be perfectly adequate.

Fantastic resort, fantastic gym, amazing breakfast we even had dinner there both nights and food was excellent dining and breakfast staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend this resort. Was a bit cold to use the outside pool which looked lovely.

I guess the inside pool could’ve been a bit bigger only cause it was too cold to use the outside pool and inside pool was a bit busy
