Orologopoulos Mansion Luxury Hotel

The hotel is a beautifully restored old Kastorian mansion. The breakfast was fantastic, a large variety of items to choose from including Kastorian specialties. The service was exceptional during breakfast and in response to any other request we had. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

The location is in a very nice neighborhood on a delightful square with 4 cafes / restaurants. The staff was excellent. The hotel’s location is a 20-30 minute walk to the Cave Of Dragons ( a must see) and about the same distance in the other direction to the city center. There are several cafes and restaurants along the lakefront on the way between the hotel and the city center. The Museum of Macedonian Struggle is on the same square as the hotel and the excellent Folklore Museum is less than a 5 minute walk. The mansion is beautiful on the outside, exactly as shown in the photos. Our room and clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread was great, a nice assortment and they had a very lovely outdoor seating area as well as indoors for enjoying breakfast. There is free street parking around the hotel and we had no trouble finding an open space.

We didn’t like that there was an area directly in front of our door #24 that looked to be at one time a public seating area but is now used for housekeeping storage with a folded bed being stored there full time, and on occasion other housekeeping items. We would not expect these items to be constantly in public view in a luxury property. If it is going to be a utility area perhaps building a walk to separate it from the public area would be an easy solution. TV in the room is very very small. The good things at this hotel certainly outweigh the bad. We had a great stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Hotel is easily accessible and parking is not a problem around the square. Room is fine with a good bed, chairs, table and fridge. Full breakfast buffet. In the courtyard you can relax after your visit to beautiful Kastoria.

It was quite warm in the room. Didn't get it cooled with the automatic air fan either. Although we had it at 10 (!!) degrees. Not a big problem as we slept well.

It’s very beautiful. The staff were very accommodating and warm. Breakfast is great.

Bikes weren’t available for use for some reason. We used the laundry service, and clothes came back wet and had to be sent back. They got the bikes to us in the evening, and the clothes back to us the same day though, so they definitely tried and pulled out the stops.

The quaint setting of a traditional Kastoria mansion was what we were looking for and the accommodation did not disappoint. Our room was a perfect size for 3 and its facilities modern and extremely clean. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with all our requests.

We really loved everything here. Without a doubt this is one of our best stays. The room was big, well lit and perfectly clean. Everything was neatly maintained and very well designed. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast was good, they even served fresh orange juice. The staff is welcoming and professional. The location was very convenient for us, and there's free parking right in front.

Not sure how accessible this place is, there are stairs. It didn't matter for us, though, just mentioning.

Lovely small traditional hotel, in the centre of the old town. Quiet rooms, due to the traditional thick stone walls. Very nicely renovated. Breakfast was more than adequate, with coffees made to order included. Staff were wonderful, exceedingly friendly, polite and helpful.

Liked everything, but maybe a coffee/tea maker in the room......

Nice helpful people, really atmospheric place in old town. We got all the support we needed, and it all had a good vibe, loved the place.

Do not get there 19-23, hard to park due to restaurants in old town-vicinity of hotel. Otherwise it is no problem.

My friends and I stayed here recently and were very content with all of the above. Upon arrival, they even delivered tea to our room because I made the request. The breakfast was good with plenty of options, and the beds and location were absolutely wonderful. I would recommend to others!

Clean and modern up to date fittings, great location near the square, lovely breakfast on the patios, surrounded with great restaurants. Easy parking and easy access to Kastoria’s sights.

There was nothing not to like
