Hotel Nikopolis

The staff are superb and the professionalism was outstanding, very sociable, kind and are always willing to the extreme to assist you. Secondly, the domestic team , reception team, catering team are all outstanding. I will definitely recommend to friends and family to book Nikopolis whenever they are in Greece.

I think the hotel must have a word with the taxi drivers management in regards to their prices charge to the airport. There must be no fix price for visitors going the airport . In all European countries, taxi have meters in their cars and all prices are based on kilometres driven. I was a bit disappointed when the taxi driver who brought us to the airport charged us more than the meter readings. However, he told us that was an agreement between the taxi company and the hotel, which I find it odd. I hope you will take it in good faith and address the issues. But overall, am pleased to stay over again in your hotel.

Great hotel overall! Amazing pool, one of the best we have ever enjoyed. Comfortable and spacious room with well designed furniture. High quality food at the restaurant. Well organized reception: thank you for upgrading our room ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special mention: to Mrs Stella from the restaurant for her excellent knowledge of food and wines, also the guys that helped us with our (very heavy!) luggage during check in and check out (apologies for not remembering names)

That we stayed only for one night !

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is diverse and delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable, we were lucky to get a ground floor room that had a fascinating pool view and a garden. The spa and wellness center was well maintained and fun! Free parking, a mall nearby, perfect if you travel by car. must visit!

I wish saunas were not divided to guys and girls, my husband and I had to separate 😅

Good position , private parking free of charge and very gentle staff!!! Although I’ve booked other room , they gave me better room at the same price!! Very pleasant stay for any recommendation!

The internet connection should be more stable.

The staff are amazing, the food is incredibly good and the location is great if you want a quieter experience outside of the city. You can walk to the shopping mall and to some nice little cafes by the water. A taxi to old town was around 10 euros and a taxi in to the centre of town was around 13 euros. For us, what made our stay was Odysseas who was the chap at the bar. He literally went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We were also upgraded to a bigger room and were given a late checkout as our flight was in the evening. The indoor pool is also very nice and they have a great change room area and gym.

The room did not have air conditioning which we found annoying as it was quite hot at night. Being on the ground floor, we were unable to leave our French doors open all night to let in some air so we did struggle slightly with that. The furniture is also a little dated and we ran out of hot water on our last day - however they were very quick to fix it for us!

Service was exceptional. We had an error with our hotel booked from Australia and booked online. They accommodated our request for rooms close by. We had 5 rooms. Also upgraded us to poolside which was fabulous! The breakfast was amazing. So good that we cancelled a night at florina to come back early to stay another night!

Nothing. Everything was brilliant.

We stayed at this hotel 10 days instead of 7 like we planned, so it already shows we have been very much satisfied, Our "family room" was spacious as well as the bathroom. Two beds were very comfortable and the balcony, although very small, was useful. Free "open-air" parking was important for us. Location is far from the noisy city center where it is always very difficult to find a parking place, but it's not a problem to go to the city by taxi (12-13EUR) or by public bus (only 0.90EUR). We stayed during the unusually cold period for October in Thessaloniki and when we said it's cold in our room we got electric heater in our room in 5 minutes - we appreciate that. Breakfast is very good with lots of choices and although it was always the same during 10 days we did enjoy. People working at the restaurant were very kind and we would like to especially mention Mrs Lamprini - nice lady, always with a smile and ready to help. The gym was OK and due to Covid19 regulations interior pool and spa were closed and that is very much understandable.

It has been unusually cold (for this period of the year) during the several days in Thessaloniki but the central heating was turned on in the hotel on October 15th, so during the previous days it was a bit cold in some parts of the hotel (not in our room thanks to kindness of the lady from the reception, who enabled us a heater). On October 14th it was very rainy and on two walls in the basement and corridor there was some water dripping from the walls - this has been fixed so on Oct 15th (again very rainy day) everything was OK. So, generally we are surely satisfied with our long stay and give an overall ranking/rate of 9.

EXCELLENT breakfast & very polite and caring staff. Overall I'm very happy and would book again in future trips. We booked there with my mother because of a very serious health problem of another member of our family. We walked to Interbalkan Medical Centre every single day to talk to the doctors (just a 3min walk) and we were calm because we knew that we were SO close to the Hospital that we didn't have to worry about traffic and distance.
